Can anyone tell me if the NZ Falcons will be included in the competition in 2006? Any indication where the three divisions will play?
Don't know if its true or not but someone told me Division 2 will be hosted by Mornington Penninsula Neapen & isn't there 4 divisions???

NZ Falcons?
There are four Divisions imaginatively titled A, B, C and D.
I don't believe venues are yet confirmed but I think North Central is entitled to host Pool D in 2006. My understanding is they are considering approaching the Wimmera FL for permission to use Horsham's City Oval as a venue and Horsham as a base as there are not any towns big enough in the North Central region to cater for four football teams and their entourages.
I also read in the Bendigo Advertiser recently that the Bendigo FL is not going to bid for hosting rights of Pool C in 2006 which should leave the way open for Central Murray FL to host that group.
It appears that NZ have been invited to the Australian Country Championships next year in Cairns so my mail was slightly wrong. For more info see http://www.worldfootynews.com/article.php?story=20051106062533606

Cheers, Crash. Seems a more suitable arena for them to be involved in than the VCFL Championships although I'm tipping they 'll get handed their arses in a hatbox a few times regardless of where they play. Fourth string footy code in NZ behind Rugby, League and Soccer means that the natural footy talent probably won't have found it's way to Aussie Rules. Good luck to them though, hope they do well.
