Shepparton News suggested that Joe Amad was likely to be coaching Northcote Park next year (and maybe taking Saad with him) but I know a couple of blokes down Seymour way who tell me its all crap so I think you can confidently cross that one off the list.

Northcote parks coach has already been signed. Saad is in the draft, if he doesn't get picked up, he is at Seymour.

Joey is playing again. He came 3rd in the senior B and F last year.

All cods wobble that stuff about Northcote park. Been flying around for months now.

Well Bundoora have done a fair bit of recruiting in getting players back to the club. It does look Howse is heading back there for family reasons. Im pretty sure Northcote Park would have rung Saad and joey from seymour but now that steveie d has the job they will most likely stay. Epping well they couldnt recruit anyone to save themselves once ghazi left the club.

Sagey will be staying at Euroa champ. He will miss a few games as he is doing a bit of travelling overseas at the start of the year.

I dont know about steve daniel and shane watson, but i do know they want dave glesson back there to coach. Vinnie keeps getting re appointed as he is coaching for next to nothing even to the point he coached for free a few years ago.

Word is he's got some recruits lined up but the club isn't (officially) mentioning any names yet. Wouldn't really surprise if they did go there with him, would it?

Believe he did spend time at Fitzroy in his younger days. Think has played at West Preston before, coached Broadford in 2003 & 2004, got them into a grand final in 2003. He did attract some very good players to Broadford so Im sure he'llland some handy recruits for West Preston in 2006 also.

I heard Bakes was apparently meeting with West Preston on Friday, dunno about Ake & Tevita though. Word up in Broady is that Adam Bruni might be coaching their two's, which would almost guarantee his brother Dwayne wont play for the Roos in 2006 - a few are spewing 'coz both Adam and Dwayne were well liked by all. Another Broadford player linked to rumour is young CHF Brent Littlewood . . . would be a another big loss for the Roos if true.

Northcote Park have big $$ problems. Last years coach walked out last month because he hadn't been paid a cent of the $15k he was promoised. His assistant the same. Reserves coach Dean Easton gone aswell for same reasons. The preisdent has been sacked as a reponse to all this and many senior players are on the move due to last years coach not being reappointed. Big Steve Easton was offered more than $20k to go back but got wind of the way people had been treated.
Matt Amad going to play with Joe. Things look bad for the parkers!!!!

I heard that Fawkner Park were out of business and there would be a bye in Div 2?

The DVFL's exorbitant affiliation fees probably have a fair bit to do with why a lot of clubs are struggling. Something like $25K, which I'm led to believe is a fair bit more than any other suburban league.

what is going on with football are the leagues gettin greedy.
northcote park - huge debt
greensborough - no one wants to run the club
fawkner - debt
lower plenty _ in trouble
i'm sure other clubs are struggling

thats just in dvfl what about other football leagues football has become about money not sport and the small fish are drowning

Not sure where it goes becausse the DVFL is a poorly ran by a a bunch oif second rate 1970's crew. No wonder sides are dying or trying to get out it.

Should bring in Divi 3 for the weaker sides.

Its about time people wake up and realise how ******** the dvfl is. the league has been going backwards for some time now. maybe if they get new people to run the league it might improve.
