Well looks like the Kiwis are set to lose 4-0 in the one day series, what a shocker

Got off to a great start after losing to Fleming and have collapsed in a heap to be 157/7 with Hall taking 3/8 so far

Where did it all go wrong for the Kiwis? They used to be a good side

They have also already subbed in McMillan (sp?), for Adams, who failed with 7 thanks to an appalling LBW decision

Put Sri-Lanka in the same category.

4-0 down to India in a best of 7 ODI's

Poor.

On the other hand, India are on fire. Chappell has got them playing so confidently.

i think it has to do with these teams inability to play well away from home !

What would be good is a tri series played across the 3 countries, so

Australia and South Africa travel to England, play England there. England and Australia follow South Africa back to South Africa and play SA there then SA and England come down to Australia and play Australia down here. Maybe even if time play the 2 neutral teams in each country as well against each other

Wouldnt be a bad idea, they do it in other sports

they have had basically the same team for the last 4 years, they would wanna improve by 2007 or it will be remebered as a era that had potential but went no where.

An interesting use of the power plays

There is a vicious storm about to end the game, why bother with the power play? This game will not go 50 overs, NZ are fighting against Duckworth Lewis now, or keeping the game below 20 overs to stop from losing, so surely you wouldnt take the powerplay?

My rain dance worked for Brisbane, problem was it came 5 minutes to late :p

Anyway, you almost have to feel sorry for South Africa if they dont get back on as they are 1 over off a game, dont know why they upped it from 15 to 20

They are back, and look like still winning, but my god McCullum just pulled off the stumping of the century :D

Prince sort of half swung at the ball, missed it, McCullum took it and made the usual fake stumping attempt, Prince then raises his back foot for some reason with his front foot already outside the crease, McCullum notices the foot up and stumps him

I agree. Add NZ/India at their best as the fourth team, and that series would bring people through the gates.
