Breaking story is that the WA captain asked the umpires to look at Aaron Birds' bowling action in the one day match.This has now been referred to the ICC

He's been knocking on state selection for a while. Very quick (more Tait, than Lee's pace though). He played U/19's for Australia a few years ago. He's got an odd action though. Similar flexible wrist action to Lee, Aktar etc IIRC.

At least two members of the NSW camp have confirmed he has been reported, however the official line is that he hasn't.
He's been out on the field today as 12th man.
