Anyone who seems more of the Redbacks than myself, how highly do you rate this lad, tell me a little about his game.
Every time ive seen him he has looked impressive.
He's pretty good, improving all the time but needs a good domestic season with lots of runs before getting a cricket Australia contract..

Damien Flemming reckon's he will be Jaques' opening partner for the 2009 Ashes Series - pretty big expectations obviously. What I saw last season wasn't all that impressive (he is young, granted), but given time (and listening to his reputation), he should end up a handy player - prehaps Blewett's perminant replacement.

He does look quite solid, with some talnt their, only saw the little innigs he had agaisnt NSW in an ing cup game early this year. where he looked very good, handy agaisnt the short ball.
In the next couple of years SA could be the new NSW with Ferguson, Cosgrove, Tait, Cullen and Rofe to name a few all pushing for Australian selection

Oh dear, hear that people? the idiot alarm has been activated.
A 19/20 year old averaging nearly 40 in his first full-season of domestic cricket in the toughest domestic competition in the world for a struggling team.
I take it you know little eg; nothing about cricket so back off and chill in the General Sports forum or something mate.
Cheers AC :)

Averaging 40 at the age of 19? I guess no players in the Pura Cup impress you.

Haddin will be 32 then, I'd rather see Hartley or Ronchi there please.

Not sure about Cosgrove. Would want to bung a couple solid seasons together. I doubt the test side would allow fat bastards to play in this day and age. If he could get his body right could be anything.
Hopfully by 2009 Cameron White is has already got a good number of tests under his belt.
Hartley/Croswaite over Haddin.

I'm only going on what I saw on TV in the ING Cup. He didn't play too many impressive innings which were televised...
Will be a superstar. Like the kid, always check to see how he went.

Wow, another cowardly snipe at a young player who has a bad innings.
Have you got that much an inferiority complex?
