Strathy are in talks with a few from Shepp way i think and some locals again but hard to judge at the minute, start training next Sunday. DeAngelis has been great for the club and is proving to be a good operater, will play a lot closer to goal than previous years when he plays

There are no big signings coming Shepp Easts way, we have a budget and we stick to it, and Sam is looking at getting a younger list together with the emphasis on developing the younger players, and he hopes that the side is really competitive each week but he's main focus is on the younger players.

No hole at Strathy mate, lots of good young kids coming through up from the thirds this year that will step straight into seniors, havent lost anyone from last year and a couple of ex players returning in Adam Cleary & Beau Maidment and cant name the others returning just yet or the players we are talking too but will keep you posted when things develop. Certainly have had two dismal years but with the kids we have coming through and the return of some ex players we should be a lot more competitive this year, two years ago we missed finals by half a game, last year disappointing but still competitive for most of the season, struggle against the class sides though as we have a lot of young kids but definately not doom and gloom with everyone enjoying the place off field wise and some enthusiasm around the place for the upcoming season

I would agree that shepp east and katandra are the ones to beat but would also add Waaia into the mix as being the top three, Dookie to improve but not sure if they will be up near the same mark as these three. Quiet often GV Players struggle when they come back to the PDFL due to the decrease in tempo, so it will be intersting to see how they handle it.

As far as I know he is fully committed, He was well and truly questioned on his lack of training and his club devotion while injured. The club was satisfied with the answers that he gave and his views for the up-coming year. And he didn’t see much problem with the travelling either. Gregor's set shots are some of the worst i've seen, just seems to choke when lining up for goal.
But can play, racks up 25-30 touches a game and is a real hard nut.
Stevey kicks 60 odd goals a year playing on ball/half forward and is also a gun player.
It's good to have a fair few players travelling back to play for the Kats.
