View Full Version : Judge has interview for Footy managers jod while Drum to coach in the VFL
Ken Judge is in line for the Dockers footy managers job after an interview on Friday and Damian Drum is going to coach Bendigo Diggers in the VFL.
12 months is a long time in football.
Drum to coach for Bendigo? Last I heard, their was a chance that Bendigo would be kicked out of the league because of money problems. And, they have been in the laegue for about 4 years, and have only won about 7 games in that time. This year, they were thrashed just about every week. Why would Drum even get it into his head to coach a side like that? Why would he even give it any consideration?
The club has never won 2 games in a row since they joined in 1998. Drum must be a very desperate person if he wants to coach a club like that.
Bendigo lost every game last season and this news is from the west on Saturday.

i also heard that Todd Viney is going for this job. IF he gets it, that will be good cos he worked closely with both Simmonds and Farmer, and well u guys will do alright out of it. :)
just my 2 cents worth. :D
Viney is a shoo-in for this job. Cameron Schwab and he are mates from Schwab's Melbourne days. This "networking" (read old mates syndrome) is apparently how things are done in the AFL these days.
Viney was/is a lisping ninny who tried desperately hard to become a bustling strongman, but he may be just the ticket in this job. I am suspicious about whether or not Kenneth Judge would make an excellent football manager. He appears to be grumpier than a West Coast supporter finally realising Woosha, Monkey and Suma are in the box and not on the paddock but he didn't sh*tcan Cummings etc - that is, he didn't cut loose the dead wood at the Fleagles and that's going to be a big part of the footy manager's job at Freo.
If Judge does get the job at Freo, the residents of Bellevue Terrace are going to be hearing a lot of high-volume Frank Sinatra this year. Franky only got a spin five times last year.
