heard on 3SR on Saturday morning that Justin Murphy was going to a club in the Goulburn Valley...Not an actual GV club, which may mean it could be Rumbalara with its Hickmott connection.

pfft, euroa are chasing hilton and he certainly didn't light the world on fire at richmond. murphy would a be a great pick up for any regional club.

Didn't hilton get about 8 or 9 votes one year in the Brownlow??? Thats not a bad effort.
One of Murphy's groomsmen, who has also been given the flick, was from Congupna. Maybe there is a connection with him coming to a GV club provided no one picks him up in the draft?

Murphy is almost certain to play suburban footy. Word is an Essendon District League club and a Diamond Valley League club that has been very active in recruiting are frontrunners for his services.
Marc Bullen (who is the groomsman I think Whippet is referring to) will not be playing in the country.

Bullen is the groomsmen their young whippet. He is currently training with richmond at the moment I think. So he might get drafted again. There is a strong rumour with murphy being linked to Heidelberg.
Murphy going to rumba would be pretty funny as most aboriginie players in the afl called him a coconut.

yeah, hilton can play no doubt about it. i just thought it was reckless to say 'no club' would want murphy.
murphy can still find the footy and a step down in leagues would see him dominate. as will hilton.

I was only kidding when I said that man. of course murphy would be an excellent gv player. just that he was a frustrating player to follow at afl level. I follow geelong pretty closely and when he was with us he annoyed the hell out of me even though he finished top 3 in the b&f. I'd say essendon and carlton supporters would share a similar opinion. sure though, he'd fit in at rochy no worries!!

murphy struggled to find the pill in some games this year. but i think hilton struggled a bit with injury. thinking of how the step down in leagues may affect they way each plays i beleive murphy would be the pick as he's had less op's on his shoulders and knees.
but hilton will still be a gun pick up.

Murphy is almost certain to play suburban footy... a Diamond Valley League club that has been very active in recruiting are frontrunners for his services.
The word i've got is Heidelberg
Rumour I have he is playing at Norwood in the EFL. He and Matthew Allan were seen at training last week. Brett Ratten is coaching them next season.

Without a doubt. At least Richard Aldridge makes it bareable...
