Favourite: Han Solo (exactly what the prequels missed)
Honourable mention: Obi Wan (Alec Guinness)
Least Favourite: No Contest, Jar Jar Sucks
Dis-Honourable mention: Greedo for his blatent disregard for science.

Jar Jar Binks is worst hands down, then that painful Ewok in Jedi is a close second and Lando C third.
Dont have a problem with the rest, though Grevious is somewhat painful after watching it this afternoon.

Favourite: Darth Vader - The bad guys are always the best characters and my favourite characters in movies.
Honorable mention : Boba Fett and R2D2.
Least Favourite Character: That gay robot or these ********ing singing chipmunks! :mad:

Favourites:
Darth Vader. Excatly how a baddie should be done.
Chewie. Champion.
Han Solo. Smartarse, funny bugger, hero. He had it all.
Obi Wan. Alec Guiness, in that small role he had, made a great character. And Ewan McGregor did a very good job IMO.
Boba Fett. Mysterious character, despite the fact we now know he's a clone of Jango, that mystery will always be there for me.
Darth Maul. Gun of a baddie.
Watto. "What, you think you're some kind of JEDI waving your hand around like that?" "Ani?...............little Ani? ........Nahhhhhhh ......... You are Ani!"
Least Favourites:
Jar Jar. Christ he shat me.
Ewoks. ********ed me off no end.
Aunt Beru. Could her voice have been anymore dubbed over in Episode IV?
Jar Jar. DIE, DIE NOW.
Padmé in Episode I. Acted like she ran the galaxy.
Jar Jar. JUST DIE!!
Nute Gunray. He just ********ed me off.
Shmi Skywalker. Did she have to talk with that bloody stupid accent?

Not quite. Moff Tarkin was played by Peter Cushing - Count Dooku was played by Christopher Lee (also Saruman in Lord of the Rings). Both Cushing and Lee worked together in hundreds of films for the British company Hammer which specialised in horror films.
Faves: Grand Moff Tarkin, Boba Fett (in ESB), Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Greedo, Garindan and the Probot (love the noise it made).
Hated: Jar Jar Binks, Ewoks, umm anyone in the Phantom Menace (except for the two bug guys)

Why do most people have a problem with Jar Jar Binks?At least he is considered sentient and 'communicates' with more then animal noises.

Darth Sidious was pretty cool
Favourite was that long eared fella in the first movie and might of been in more. What a champ!
Best - the originals have so many great characters. Hans Solo, Obi Wan, Vader, Yoda, the Emperor. If forced to pick one I'd go with Hans Solo just edging Vader.
Worst - Jar Jar Binks by a mile. Though Amadala and Anakin are awful. The emperor is wooden at best in episodes 1 - 3. So many from the first 3 episodes to choose from for a second behing Jar Jar.

I'm just waiting for George Lucas to re-edit the original trilogy to replace Han Solo with Jar Jar Binks.

To explain, his lines in Jedi were lame esp in the attack on the deathstar.
