Listening to Sen Radio and very excited about this day

Surely there is enough demand for a "live" television feed:confused:

Scott Clayton just saying on Sen that he's got a smoky in mind for pick 11 - will be interesting - decoy or genuine? TWT

Stiffy, Sen is not allowed to broadcast on the net on weekends - you can never get it

Eggzoi

I got through to the Afl.com.au coverage, which is just SEN anyway. Although Telstra is doing a poor job of giving it out, for a company of that size bandwidth shouldn't be an issue whatsoever in Aus.
Anyway, I had to use IE to get it to work, in case anyone is trying with another browser.

f..... i came into the office to get Sen on the internet but nothing

and we only have dial -up internet so i assume i cant even get the afl.com feed either

so i'll have to rely on big footy boards progress (the only other option is 5AA but judging by previous years their coverage and their knowledge of draft players even the SA based ones is sh..thouse.

Last year I couldn't get on because my firewall was stopping the pop up windows. Now I disables the bastard and I get the pop up window but it stays white for ever.

I listened to it last year after I disables the firewall. Thats not working this year

26 Nov 2005, 09:09
my final thought on player selection is that if Varcoe is still there at 16/17 i would select him - very bottom age, has pace which we lack, has shown already that he can play SANFL level, has the x factor which may make him one of the stars of the future

i believe Hughes is overrated (in so far as a 16/17 pick is concerned) - he is top age, only 16 months younger than Watts was

IMO Varcoe, Hurn, Pfeiffer rate ahead of him if they are still there at 16/17

24 - RICHMOND - Richard Douglas
(Calder Cannons), 6 February 1987, 180cm, 68.1kg

Linked with Essendon (No.19) and Collingwood (No.21 and No.23), Douglas is also right in the mix for Richmond, as the Tigers look for a small to medium-sized running defender. Douglas has a great work-ethic and possesses football smarts. A member of the Vic Metro side in the under 18 championships, Douglas was also named in the TAC Cup Team of the Year, while he was also won the TAC Cup Coaches Award in 2005. Capping off a great season, he was rewarded with the Calder Cannons best-and-fairest award. And recently he shone at the Draft Camp, with his speed, agility and endurance. Swallow is another the Tigers will monitor.

At the same age everyone was saying the same thing about Skipwoth and he has not gone on.

179 is to small for a key onballer theses days, he will have to play as a small forward or crummer and if they have picked up someone for that role with pick 16 is a ********ing joke.

Didn’t they learn there lesson the first time with a high draft pick that the kid will always rate him self and be home as soon as possible. He will be gone with in 4 years.

63 - ST KILDA - Bernie Vince
(Woodville West Torrens), 2 October 1985, 186cm, 81kg

Could Bernie Vince be this year's smoky? Although in many respects, he is not a hidden talent as he played and impressed in a handful of SANFL matches towards the end of the 2005 season - including the SANFL grand final - it was enough to get several clubs talking. He possesses football smarts, can play tall and knows how to win the ball. Vince played four senior matches, including a beauty against the Port Adelaide Magpies in the preliminary final. St Kilda, after plucking James Gwilt from suburban football last year, could do it again, with the Saints taking a keen interest in Vince. He could also be St Kilda's final selection in this year's draft, as it is believed the Saints will pass on their final two picks. Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, the Kangaroos and the Brisbane Lions are also believed to be interested. If he does not go in this draft, he is likely to be an early rookie selection. He is also a talented cricketer and is playing grade cricket for Woodville in South Australia. He will be a name to watch.

He is a HFF/Midfielder from WWT. Clean player. Knows where the goals are.

Played REALLY well in one of the finals (I think it was gainst Port). I don't know how much improvement he has left but he is a decent pick up.

Maybe its a case of us really not rating this draft so we are taking players that are more "footy ready" than some kinds that probably never works out.

We did a similar thing in 2002 draft when we picked up Jericho, Shirley and Begley.
