The Hawks should go for either McEntee or Nicholls with the Rookie Draft pick - hopefully those s at Cwood and Carlton dont take them first :p

oops just started the same topic in another thread.

agree with what you say guys, there would be some shattered blokes at the moment, but on the bright side the rookie draft will give some a hope of making it and those bottom agers well another year of TAC Cup won't do them any harm.

Let's hope that ALL clubs decide to take rookies and we don't see a poor number selected in two or three weeks time.

Exactly, we don't want the same result of the last few years when the Dogs and Kangas have passed a lot of picks, its good to see as many guys picked up as possible.
I'm hoping Essendon pick up a couple of mids and another tall. We might go for Greene if he is eligible (there have been conflicting reports about this).

It looks like from that list only Daniel Dzufer, Grae Grant and Jesse White are bottom aged, with another year of U/18's ahead.

Everyone else will be vying for a PSD/Rookie spot.

Toovey may not go to the rookie draft I feel, he wouldnt move interstate for such a small contract. He was top 5 in everything in the draft camp, played Senior WAFL footy and dominated and still didnt get picked.

Generally players in the rookie draft are training with the team before they get drafted, so they don't go to clubs they didn't know they were a chance with. Nobody tends to feel too passionately about a player that they passed on at least three times in the draft to make them move interstate. Hopefully he can get a chance with a W.A club.

No you are a slug, that tries to convince everybody that you have some insight that nobody else does.

The fact is you don't and each time something happens in the AFL it shows you to be the idiot you really are.

Aftet that, you then come out as say "Oh it was just my opinion"
But most of us are awake to you - dopey

Don't listen to him mate.

Even on a good day, Murray ain't happy unless he's whinging about something. After his club's selections today, you can't blame him for being a bit more touchy than usual.:)

Well, I have to say you dont have to be Enistein to realize how many players would be disappointred to miss out this year. Thank god for The Rookie Draft. I can't wait for that to happen! So many up and coming great players will be on those lists. As a Brisbane supporter, I would like to see them Rookie Julian Kannis because the kid has tons of potential. I would also like to see them Rookie Leigh Ryswick again.

Kelleher should be a certain rookie. Tad short for KP, but I wouldn't mind him.
