Thought you should've taken Clark at #8 as it was, but seeing as you lucked out with Hughes at #24, everything turned out alright.
Casserly is a good get at #40.
Interesting comment from Miller though, that Hughes is expected to play on the full forward line, considering that he'd make a pretty good CHF, IMO.
Vinnie,if we can get anyone whether it be ff or CHF to play successfully in the same forward line as Richo it' ll be a bloody miracle.:D
Big wrap for Hughes btw. Big :thumbsu:
Greg Miller said that we were hoping to get Casserley at 24 but when Hughes made it to 24 we chose him and hoped Casserley would last to 40 which he did :thumbsu:

Perhaps the Match Committee will decide where he plays instead of the self-styled (named?) Messiah.

should have gone the tall timber and got clarke, especially after last year richmond drafted 3 midfielders in deledio, tambling and meyer. Gaspar is almost finished and the backline is not one of richmonds strength. If richmond picked up Clarke and hughes id be saying well done richmond, well spread eveness. Hope u havnt picked another aaron fiora.

I was a bit surprised the Tigers didn't go tall with pick 8, but having said that, I think they did very well. Was hoping Oakley-Nicholls may slip through to the Hawks at 14 or 18, will be a good player. Hughes was a good get too, particularly at 24.
Was a little surprised not getting a tall with pick 8, but I think it shows The Wallace game plan of building a team around a lot of FAST/skillful midfielders.
Other teams will have problems matching up against the pace of Deledio, Tambling, Meyer and now Oakley-Nicholls, especially as there are several other players who are quite brisk and skillful.
Getting the ball is always a question mark, but when they get it, the RIchmond midfield should be well set to make fast/effective use of it.
