Howdy,
I am moving to our nations capitial next year and just wondering how you other eastern staters support our side? I notice our Interstate memberships look mostly like victorian memberships..

I am planning trips to Sydney for our game at the SCG. Then maybe to a Melbourne game, hell maybe even an Adelaide game..

No games in Manuka but I'll cope.. Do they get much airtime over east?

You'll definately need to get Fox Footy. For Brisbane games there is a good pub around the corner from the GABBA for after game functions.

That is if you're coming to the Round 9 game :)

budget won't allow for fox footy :( maybe next year...

think I will just use the radio to listen to the games if they are not shown on telly and try to get to as many Syd, Bris, Melb games as I can...

awww welll.. least I don't have to put up with the west australian press any more!

Well I made it... I haven't been browsing for quite some time as I only got the net back today. Just signed up with dial up for a temperary connection untill I can save for broadband.

Isn't it a change over here. Have heard SFA about freo. Not one little thing. I went to the Kingston pub and watched the Force get beaten (maybe I should of watched them play before I became a vocal supporter and bagged the crap out of the brumbies all week before the game).

I can't wait for the AFL season to start, but it looks like I will be relying on audio feeds and bigfooty for my freo fix. Aww well..

Hope all is well in your lives.

Cheers

You can go on an education and recruitment campaigne.

Educate everybody about the slime and recruit as many as possible to Fremantle.

Wear you colours during winter, there is bound to other Freo supporters over there :)

There's Matt Price, his son, and that's about it. :D

Although you'd think the club could spend a tiny bit of money to get supporters groups set up in these sorts of places.

Here in Vic they roughly show 4 or 5 Freo matches on free to air TV, thankfully we have Austar.

Last year when we moved house we were without Austar for three weeks and I had to listen on the radio, wasn't a fan.

Good luck, Reveler.

Hi im in Canberra just moved last year there is a regular get together of lots of Freo Supporters at Eastlake Footy Club when the games on FOXTEL they show it live there if Live on FOX. Plenty of Freo fans in the ACT as I do Goal Umpiring for NSW/ACT AFL and I met them there.

Email me at sarit.kanabar@comcare.gov.au and sarit@cyberone.com.au we can start a list of ACT Freo Members

I'll be moving over there at this time next year! Let us know how you go during the season, I'll be interested to see how you handle the transition! :)

The only thing I think I'll miss badly from Perth is my regular seat at the footy every two weeks!
