The ratings seem a bit too generous to me. We only won 45% of our games but the average rating is about 5.5, and the average is brought down by low ratings to players who barely played. The games Brown played may have been 8/10, but he played less than half a season which you haven't factored in, but gave Rodan 0/10 for missing the whole season. Deledio and Tuck had good seasons for young players but 9/10 is for Brownlow medallist contenders IMO. And I don't think Ray Hall will ever be an 8/10 player - more a 5-6/10 player at his best.

brown played 10 games which was 10 games more than rodan so how can you even rate rodan if hasn't even played all year.as for brown he was having a slashing season until his unfortuanate injury and that's how i rated him,up until that point.what hell are you going on about 9/10 is for brownlow
medallists when i'm only rating them of their efforts for us this year, get real dude.

Lol, Ray Hall rated 3 notches above Kane Johnson. Are you working on a handi-cap system? Giving players your ratings on your opinion of their potential? I know who I would rather have on the park between Hall and Johno....
And how can Brown be given an 8 out of 10 for playing 10 games, but Rodan be given a 0 for playing 0 games? Rodan should be N/A - non-applicable. I feel the same about Thomas Roach and Adam Pattison and I am outraged that Kelvin Moore, Nathan Foley, Danny Meyer and Andrew Raines rated as highly as they did.
Also what is picking my lip is the fact that everyone is so down on Chaffey. he is not a star everybody knows that but he has grit and some passion and he provided some vital tag roles and clearances of half back for YET ANOTHER SEASON! Terry has already expressed how pleased he is with Chaffey and so long as he works through his groin troubles I will not have a problem with him keeping his spot in the starting 22.
I appreciate what you are trying to do with this thread Tigerboyz, I really do, but it is too inconsistant for me to take seriously. By that I am not doubting your knowledge of the club or the game, I just think you should have thought about your post better. Im sorry.
Kurtis.

Mate, what your saying has more holes than a leaky bucket. You stuffed up and are now hiding behind it by refering to it as a joke, or "non-serious". Still, anyone who says Richard Tambling, Kayne Pettifer and Will Thursfield had a better 2005 than our captain Kane Johnson probably should be hiding behind calling their post a joke.
The flood gates have opened, let the tide wash this thread out to sea......

But you did rate Rodan. You gave him 0/10. That was my point. Others who didn't play, you didn't rate.
And what do you mean when you say you are rating their efforts for us this year? Are you rating them against (a) your expectations of them, (b) their relative performance against their team-mates, or (c) against what an AFL player should achieve? My first post assumed (c), but from your responses it seems maybe (a) or (b).

I rated the whole senior list whether they played or not.why don't you read the comments as well as the ratings and by the way never have I once claimed to be an expert,it's just a personal opinion of mine to beat the off season boredom and to get the ball rolling by seeing how others rated the players season. Crumden stop being so serious and lighten up.

I read the comments. You gave your opinion on your ratings, I gave mine that you were too generous to quite a few players. No need for you to get so defensive about it.
