Knight Rider

Hi fellow VAFA followers,
Knight Rider in conjunction with The Big Pineapple invite you to the "official" VAFA Christmas Party this friday night at Motel, who will be sponsoring the event.
Come and meet all your favourites from the year past and celebrate the festive season in style with the rest of the VAFA crew.
There is sure to be a few of santas sexy elves around on the night who will be keen for some sled action!
So get along on the 2nd December to The Motel in Sth Melbourne.
Ho Ho Ho to you all...and tell'em Knighta sent you!
Do you know whether Alphonse will be attending after watching his pony at the Valley? I hear on the grapevine he might have "The Dude" in tow. It would be a cracker of a night if he managed to drag "The Dude" along. But who is this "Dude" I hear you ask????
Stay Tuned.

Sammg, I will get on the blower to Alphonse about attending friday nite. I suspect with mokbel now have an imposed curfew of 11pm, he should be able to stay out late without fear of retribution!

The Christmas Party sounds like a great idea Knighter and BP. Will be great to catch up with all the other goalies. Should be an awesome night. Never been to Motel but I believe it's just near my favourite haunt the Marque. Is it similar dress code? Will I get in with my boat shoes, iron free chino's and short sleeve collared shirt?

I couldn't think of a better way to spend a Friday evening than with a group of goal umpires at the Marquee Club.

I don't think Rupertswood FC people would be welcome, so wuld be adviseable for me to stay away.

No Ben, you are wrong. All VAFA clubs are invited to celebrate together no matter which club you're from as long as you are a good bloke.
See you all Friday night and don't forget to tell 'em Knighta sent you! ;)
Have complimentary drink cards been organised for attendee's? Surely Xav's aren't welcome though?

I'm looking into the possibility of drink cards for those in attendance, however as I'm not as familiar with the staff as I am at Room, it will be harder. Perhaps Slay Master G can help us out?
All VAFA players/supporters/groupies etc. are most welcome. At this time of year it's about peace, love and family...and Xavs are VAFA family!

Thanks for the reply KR. One last question. If the night is a bit on the "dead" side, will members of B Section teams be willing to start a punch on for the amusement of all the other attendee's?
Will there be a "dance off" between the sections?

I'm willing to have a dance off with Alphonse to settle once and for all who actually won the Battle of the Gillon on that rain soaked encounter earlier this year.
If the night is a bit dull just watch the OC in his world record attempt of most knock backs in 1 night. He went very very close last week at the VAFAPA AGM in Sydney but I reckon with the purple shorts on this week he should be able to beat it.
Knighter no doubt will bed yet another random glam.
The Slitherin Snake will be ready to strike with his good recent form.

Sounds great! I am looking forward to all the action, I am also very hopeful the infamous Alphonse "Headlock" will get an airing.

Don't know about any KB's last week Pineapple, only remember that best looking netball team in the world being tuned to a tea by the OC. He seemed to be striking the ball better than Matthew Hayden
KB's or not, never forget, it's a numbers game!

That's not very nice Sammyg. It's Christmas time, a time for all to come together to celebrate the past year and another Xavs premiership! :p

It's a long story SMG, but as a youngster my nickname was "biscuit". Then as I grew older and my love for Melbourne's nightlife intensified I soon became known "Disco". Then when asked to create a username for this forum it seemed like a logical fit. :)

Don't let the rain persuade you... tonight will be massive!!!
Alphonse has also indicated that he might make an appearance but keep it hush hush as his parole officer has put a 10pm curfew on him.
See on the D floor and don't forget tell 'em Knighta sent you!

Quite possibly KR, Tuesday night you'll find me at your favourite haunt Room, Thursday night is the Station/Seven double, Friday night is Q then 161, Saturday night is Prince/161/Revolver and then Sunday night is normally spent chilling out at Metropol or Alumbra.
Might get down to Motel tonight though for the Christmas Party before heading over to Q. ;)
What was the wash up from the Christmas party? Did Alphonse make an apperance?

I have one word for you.....bender!
The night was a huge success with Motel packed to the rafters. They had to stop letting them in and eventually opened up the downstairs area as well to accomodate the masses.
At one stage the dancefloor had more sweat on it than 10 swedes in a sauna!
Justin Timberlake made a come back for the night, which was a huge effort seeing he'd been in LA just 24 hours beforehand.
Charlie Murphy was also there but he wouldn't stop raving on about how Prince beat him in a game of BBall!
And of course special mention for our umpire in white, Mr Nuffy O'Dwyer. He clearly can't handle the grog but no the less he seemed to enjoy the nite.
Finally, I would like to thank all the gorgeous girls who turned up on the night and provided more eye candy that what you'll find on a christmas tree this time of year!

Sorry I couldn't make it, sounds like a belter of a night.
Justin Timberlake was also spotted on the D-Floor at Seven on Saturday night, rocking to the beats of Martin Solveig, exceptional effort, the boy musn't have slept for 3 nights. Disappointed that he wasn't with Cameron, Pharrel or the Dogg.
Oggy's Cousin sent me a text message at 2:30 AM on Saturday detailing that Alphonse had suddenly appeared at Boutique, surrounded by several bodyguards, this must have intimidated the gorgeous ladies there.

I dropped in about 2:00 am and the place was going off. There were beautiful ladies everywhere and the beats kept coming all night long. A very special thank you to the gorgeous girls that came back to my place for the after the party. A good time was had by all! :p

Hello VAFA!!!!!!!!!!!
Was great to back amongst it after the hectic tour schedule. Motel was the shizzle my dizzles, as was the after party at 7 Saturday. But its hard to compete at Motel with the likes of KR around, or Slay Master G at 7 for that matter! Will be back for seconds Friday and Saturday!

JT I've heard you've got yourself into shape whilst touring the world with your stage show these past few months. Is there any truth that you maybe returning to the game that you loved so much before heading back to the US to become a popstar?

It is a possibility KR, just playing it by ear but would love to pull on the beloved guernsey. After an inspiring set from solveig sat nite im trying to get him to come on board and produce an album with me. He too is also keen for a run on the park and after one two many jack and jills on Sat nite, he let it slip that Fitzroy Reds have approached him for a wingman/ coaching/ trivia nite music organiser role at Brunswick Oval. You could say that that addition would 'mix' it up at bit...............................
