Is it true that some of the papers in the east have been questioning whether he should be opening the batting for Australia. It said so in The West Australian today. If so that is a disgrace, he has been hitting some big scores opening the batting for WA this year. What do they suggest, give Blewett another chance? Slater is so out of form it's not funny, and Elliot is not ready to step up again.
I wouldn't know, but I like the little bugger. It's nice to see him in a bit of form.

JL is a great bloke.
And, alot of people forget that he was our highest run scorer in our 16 test winning streak...

JL's a great bloke, lucky enough to have met him twice at cricket clinics. He deserves every success that comes his way.
Thanks for pointing that statistic out to us Nick, JL and Gilchrist saved that test against Pakistan in Hobart. He's a gritty player that will always give 100% each dig.
