What protective gear do you wear when batting?

For me:
Box (ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS!)
Pads (Duh!)
Thigh Guard (Never on ourside of clothes)
Gloves (otherwise I'd get broken fingers)

I never wear arm guards or any of that other stuff.

Pads, box, gloves always, helmet and or thigh pad depending on the deck. Probably wear thigh pad least of all. Broke fingers this season , but that was fielding!!!

Pads, Gloves (with big hole in them!), Thigh Pad (never hits it though, always misses it), Box (VITAL!!!), Helmet (always start out with it - if 2 spinners bowling will go to hat but never last that long):D

Your all a bunch of sissies, when I go out I only have my bat to protect myself, of course I'm only facing a tennis ball these days :D

When I still played competitive cricket, I would wear a helmet (we were forced to), gloves, pads, box and in my later years (ie under 16's) a thigh pad because some of the bowlers were a bit quick for my liking.

Well thank God I live in WA... home of the military mediums.
If we want any fast bowlers, it seems we have to import them... Just glad we haven't imported a Lee or a Gillespie, cause then I would probably consider retirement...
Short bowling and myself tend not to mix.

i wear a helmet, thighpad, gloves, box and pads

i got new pads and gloves this season and they are the best ive ever had

a guy i play with is sponsored by newbury and after seeing the quality of his gear i bought a pair of newbury pads
they are the lightest and most comfortable pair of pads ive ever worn

and my uncle got me a pair of slazenger V600 Pro gloves,
he got them of damien martyn who had worn them once in the nets at the end of the england tour but was getting new gear when he was getting home so was getting rid of his old stuff and my uncle grabbed them for me
great quality gloves, if anyone has the money to buy them (think they are about $100) i recommend them highly

Always wear them all.

Never been hit, but i still bat much better when i have it all. Just relaxes you, and also lets you go for your shots a little more. (and my Ulysses is a rather nice chunk of wood too. :) )
