View Full Version : Pic of Thommo
after that pic where he is over a collingwood player and his guns look ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE.
Was in the paper before the Saints PF with the title
Tough - Tougher
Trying to prove to a mate he is built as! (or maybe just want the pic :p)

i like the one where hes getting into wanganeen better. Too bad that fizzed out as the season went on. Remember at the Freo game, josh carr and another guy was having a little bit of push and shove with him with zero support, didnt see much more after that.

Cheers Eggzoi...
One question though, when i try and post a pic using the whole .. thing, it just posts the link to the pic. How do you actually get it to display on the post :)?
I don't think gettyimages allows that, so I uploaded it somewhere else and then did the [img] thing.
His dad used to be a Mr Australia or something like that. Big body builder and rower so scottys bound to get the genes and training regimes. Hes huge!

if its the incident i remember from that game it was on our forward line at the northern end in front of the members section on the 50 meter line and thompson was facing the southern end when josh carr came up from behind and belted him in the back of the head
Yeah i remember that well, then he took on another at the same time.
Had both by the scruff of the neck in each hand.
It's funny, ive watched him in Melbourne games and he never seemed that aggressive...I reckon if he was at Melbourne still they would be a HUGE tilt at the flag in 2006.

didnt see the hit to the head, but they just had a bit of push and shove. No one helped him out and he didnt do it from then on. Thats what happens, if the ball aint around, you expect a bit of help!

doesnt seem to have a naturally strong body, like someone like roo for instance. Its all mainly weight work.

I think Mark Ricciuto may have a bit of a say in this. I remember Brent Reilly stating at the start of the season that Roo had been giving him tips on how to give out the biff to opposition players with cheap elbows and other stuff that won't raise the eyebrows of the tribunal. It's basically giving the team some hardness, something which Warren lacks to achieve.
Hopefully my man Darren Pfeiffer can be brought up on some of this as well.
Is pfeiffer your mate or something?
Bit weird signing up with his name and so on...

yeh i turned 18 2 weeks ago. i went to the casino with darren and a few other mates that night, should probably stop leading him down the wrong path.
i feel embarassedtho, because im mates with darren, yet spell his name wrong in my user name. hopefully i dont get drilled (especially now ive brought attention to it).
i would ask the admin to change it...but thats fishing in dangerous waters.

They're pretty big, the boy has worked pretty hard over the last few years to generate a strong overall body, congrats to him. Perhaps someone like Stevens can take notice, as I think he could be a pretty good player if he too hit the weights.
