caveman, seeing you are such a full on fan of the Reds boys (for no obvious reason, as it appears you continually want to know about them) perhaps you could just contact them yourself?

Thanks for the reply *Crash*! I will contact them but I was just curious if anyone here had heard about this. My wife followed Fitzroy in the VFL/AFL for along time and that is why we are trying to find out as much about the Reds as possible. I think that is a fair reason! ;)

Hi Caveman, good to see you're enthusiastic about the Redders, maintain the rage!
Regarding Victoria Park, it is highly unlikely the Reds will move all of their home games there. The situation at the moment is that the Reds have got 5 sides in the VAFA (C grade seniors & reserves, 2 Club 18 sides and an under 19 side), and the Fitzroy Junior's have got about 10 sides from under 10's thru to Under 17's. All of these sides playing under the Fitzroy banner have been playing at Brunswick Street and Ramsden Street in Clifton Hill. As you may know, the Reds have had two seasons away from Brunswick Street whilst the drainage & surface were being fixed, and in an effort to keep the ground in good shape, the City of Yarra has discussed some of the Fitzroy sides playing at Victoria Park once the ground has been converted from the historic oval Collingwood played on to a new "boutique" oval (similiar to the development that Brunswick Street, Arden Street, etc have undergone).
Bottom line, you will still get the chance next year to watch Fitzroy play at the Brunswick Street Oval at 2.00 on a Saturday afternoon. Grouse!

Thanks mate! :) Cant wait to see a few games next season. Do you think the seniors will play at Vic Park at all or do you think it will be just for the Club 18s and Juniors?
