Front Page of today's Herald Sun is this headline "Plot to kill PM". The funny thing is of the 1000s of John Howard photos they have the paper decided to use one of him in a Bulldog scarf!

Obviously he is invincible in a bulldog scarf or the murder plot is coming from Pies fans?

Haha yeah I thought it was a bit strange.

Maybe because it was also revealed that the terrorists planned attacks on an AFL game.

The former. During the firearms buyback campaign of the late '90's Howard turned up to speak at a rural centre, it might have been in Gippsland, with a bullet proof vest under his shirt. He copped a bit of flak over it. He's found a protective item which avoids odious implications.

The guy the character was based on was a fellow student at Footscray High. Almost everyone followed Footscray.

John Howard permantly wears his Dogs scarf. Even in the Parliament, bed and the shower. You can't get a photo of him without it these days.
