Don't want to big note guys but just thought I'd let you know that I have been accepted onto the panel of VFL goal umpires for 2006. I found out just a couple of weeks ago and have been on cloud 9 ever since. Just want to thank the VAFAUA association for giving me my start 9 years ago and getting me where I am today. Hopefully see you all VAFA guys around the traps and good luck for season 2006.
All clear thanks! :D

Congratulations Nuffy.
All that hard work has finally paid off. Glad to hear that you have overcome that niggling little calf strain to pass your VFL medical.
All the best in your future endeavours, the VAFA will miss you waving the talicos.

Waving the WHAT? Please, if you must use idioms, use the correct words. It's "calicos", as in
a. A coarse, brightly printed cloth; (or more aptly in this case)
b. Chiefly British A plain white cotton cloth, heavier than muslin.

Sorry Nuffy but I don't get down to Marquee all that often but good luck in 2006 nonetheless. It's been a long and widing jouyney for you and I think the VFL have got themselves a superstar in the making.
Congrats on the new job too! I imagine it's pretty busy down at MSAC with the Comm Games coming up?

Well done, Nuff.
Great achievement, may very well see you around the traps at various VFL venues and hope to meet you soon.

You might remember ben carbonaro from such classics as "I used to be at Rupertswood and now I'm at Werribee."

Still have a lot of friends at Rupertswood, Eddie.
They have not disowned me or anything like that, despite threats from the past.
You just love giving me a hard time, don't you ?
