From pictures I've seen from training he looks super-fit.
But, I wonder how many more of these "I'm fitter than I've ever been" stories were going to get until the real stuff starts.
We should have a sweep to see which cliche gets trotted out the most until the first match of next season. Other great cliches include: "training the house down", "first full pre-season in a long time" or the obligatory one for recruits "great bunch of blokes".
Did I miss any? i'm sure there's more.

"The young guys have added enthusiasm to training."
Unless your young guys go by the name of Damien Cupido, then they are generally excited about training!

Good point......
Now that you mention it, can anyone recall the exact trade between Essendon, Freo and us when we lost Headland? We got Caracella and pick 3 (Brennan) as I recall, Essendon got Cupido, McPhee and a draft pick and Freo got Headland and a draft pick. Was that it?
I guess Essendon still look the winners at this stage even allowing for Cupido because McPhee is a very good footballer. I'm still hopeful Brennan will shake off his injuries and play some consistent footy this season though.

We got Caracella and Brennan and Caracella played an important role in getting us a Flag in 2003.
Brennan is still, relatively a baby but has shown enough to suggest that he will be good value.
Freo got Headland but he has struggled to even hold down a spot in an outfit that has promised much but has delivered little. I think it's fair to say that Headland achieved more at the Lions than he has at Freo, where he was killing himslef to get to!!!!
Essendon got Cupido and McPhee......Cupido largely fired blanks(as he did when he was with us) and yes, McPhee has been good....but no cigar fior the Bombers in even getting close to a Flag.
Sorry, but on the basis of what players have delivered what to which club, I reckon we are a mile in front.:)

Hope he falls over and breaks his leg... Snap, snap and more snaps.:)
Actually just kidding. The man is a gun player. His start to 2005 was a shocker but he just as I axed him from my dreamteam, he came good.

Could you swap your black for our gree, our brown for your white and ourr white for your brown.Yeah you can have our White for your Brown (providing he fits under the cap). Our White will be sitting in the stands though with his feet up beer in hand enjoying the game though, so I hope you don't expect him to do much running :D
