all in all it looks like quite a good outcome for each of the individuals.
At least Carlile is use to travelling a long way to play football. It is a pity the SANFL couldn't come up with something so that kids like carlile and looby who played together last year could play together again.

It makes for a lot smoother conversation as the other party does not misinterpret what the other one has said and also fully appreciates the others humour.

Disappointed to see Carlile stuck down at bloody Noarlunga. Westies should've been required to take a Port player if available, they're meant to be one of our F/S clubs.
Looby is going to fit in well at Alberton.

Agreed there. But the thing that annoys me more is the impression given that the needs of say Westies and Glenelg dictated that they took Crows players ahead of ours. Im just hoping our kids show them just how wrong they are in the coming months...

Actually I hope they prove them right ... by our players reaching an AFL standard quickly and stepping up to the big league, while the crowies languish in the SANFL ... ressies preferably :p
Would've liked to have seen Alipate getting coaching from Greg Phillips, altho the Port website thinks Meady will do a job there. As others have said, would've preferred to see Looby and Carlile together and away from Noarlunga. The SANFL allowed a shuffle like that for the crows once that saw Angwin and Handby go to Glenelg IIRC.
PS ... someone should let Port know that Surjan is no longer aligned to Centrals ...

The most important thing about this draft is that none of our boys will be tainted by playing at LOSERVILLE!

great post mate.:thumbsu:
possibly one of the best ive seen in my time at big footy.
You know, if you're going to reply to every anti-crows/bays thread on the Port board, you'll be very busy.
