Received my Victorian Member's shoebox today.
Better than the ripped envelope, but it must have cost a fortune in postage.
Included, one thermos, excellent for filling with rum to smuggle into the footy, and a coffee travel cup that will stand up to the rigours of 80ish proof beverages. Also a black polar fleece thing which says "scarf" on the plastic wrapper, but will go straight to the pool room as a bar runner.

Yeah, could not believe the box. Probably because so many people complained about the crushed calendar last year. (Of course there was no calendar this year, nor was there anything else that could have been crushed, so go figure.) Thanks for the "scarf" idea -- I was struggling with that.

No! Well damn. Discrimination again -- I swear they punish us for living over here. (Still looking for an explanation for last year's Geelong game.)

Nope, no BBQ tools in the "Out of SA", but have to admit I love the box. If only I can think of something to do with it. Hopefully I'll be able to buy the tools at Alberton on my next visit.
Have so far resisted the urge to open my son's Rookie pack that's sitting under the Christmas tree. That sounds like a ripper, too. Might swap him for my thermos if I can wheedle it....
Even the Tingle in our office I love to torment had to admit that "Find the Power Within" was pretty cool. 10/10 for the marketing department. I also got a very pleasant and rapid email response from the Club when I enquired as to when I could expect delivery.
Merry Christmas to you all and the only present the boys in our house really want is some more silverware. Over to you Tredders :thumbsu:

Thanks for the "scarf" idea -- I was struggling with that.
I suppose it could also be used by members of the clergy as a stoll on Good Friday.

Got mine during the week. Annoyed the DVD didnt come. I like the rewards book this year. Much better than the last couple.

If you haven't already git a "Rookie" pack for the junior Power fans in your family I can heartily recommend it. My 11 year old son loved all of it and it was a great value Christmas present. Even though we're in the ACT and can't get to many games he really feels part of it.
Love the slogan too.
I know it's OT but I just wanted to add our best Christmas moment. The aforementioned son, playing his 114th consecutive game of Power Monopoly (another awesome Christmas present - thanks Power!!), landed on a particular player and asked aloud "I wish I could afford to get Lade" :) .

Pffffffff you get punished for living in Victoria.........Try living in WA!!! WE pay the $15 less for our memberships than you do and you get to see 5 free Games. We get one game over here this year, and still have to pay for that on top of the membership!! Figure that one out!!!
Will be interesting to see how quick we get our stuff!! This year, Round 1 was here and we still didnt have our SANFL Game entry tickets!!
(Still looking for an explanation for last years Freo Game and WCE 10 goal thumping!!)

Still waiting for mine and my wifes membership packs. Though Blake's Baby Power member pack arrived before christmas - so now part of a 3 PAFC member household. The numbers are going up - and didn't even have to resort to Hawthorn like tactics by registering the dog and cat as members :p

were we supposed to get a hat this year...If you live between Sam Fox's assets your head is well protected enough anyway. You just have to get her to paint them silver, teal, black and white.

Apparently were not getting the hats until February. I got my members pack B4 xmas and rang the club to ask about the hats and the lady was pretty vague about it but said February.
(I was missing my go platinum M'ship card and the lady at the club said it comes with the season ticket, but my partner received one in her WIP M'ship pack!) Strange???:confused:

after i wrote on here about the hat i then sent an email asking wheres me hat?i got a reply back saying that they wont be ready till february and can be collected from the club...do they expect every member to go the club to pick up a free hat?i then replied to their email pointing out i live in nsw and wont be driving all that way for a hat ,he then wrote in my case it will be sent out :)

i have tried but i always smudge the last bit and have to start all over again after a good wash:)
