Crosthwaite is behind a long pecking order.

Haddin is next with a host of other young keepers like Chris Hartley too!

A long way behind? Haddin is the short term option

Hartley, Crosthwaite and Ronchi are all equal in next spot as none of them have played enough to seperate, at this point Crossy is the best keeper outside the Aussie team (On Gillys current form he is better than Gilly) just his batting needs to improve, but he is also a couple of years younger than every other first choice keeper in Australia

Victoria would give us a bigger challenge than Australia did on the recent Ashes tour

Not really, Warney was the only bowler who troubled England and he is in the Vic side.

Lewis/Harwood/Denton >>>>>>>>> Washed up Kasper/Dizzy/McGrath and the wayward Lee

McGrath troubled England before Ponting injured him.

Then he was like an old washed up man for the rest of the series, when he played

Yeah those hundreds of times he beat the bat and never got an edge he was just terrible.

lee caused a few injuries, I think some of the brits got tired whacking him to the boundary for fours and sixes :)

Another reason why wickets should be weighted, all the times Lee forces batsman to retire hurt should count as a wicket. :)

on if they are left handers witha tail wind on green tops when the test is played on a thursday, and then it should be worth 1.234234254345 times a wicket taken on a friday against a right hander when bowling with a headwind.

I think Hartley is ahead of Crosthwaite.

Crosthwaite might get into the side, there are a few candidates for that keeping position once Gilly is gone though.

Hodge probably won't stay for too long, not sure if it's worth bringing someone of his age in when there are young players who probably could do just as well (i.e. Clarke, Jaques, Cosgrove)

If White gets into the team I will move to Mexico or somewhere, because I will no longer want to be an Australian.

Lewis is probably too old, and will be one of those players who is a domestic gun but keeps being denied by the selectors (a bit like Bichel is at the moment)

Wise I haven't actually seen bowl so I can't comment on

David Hussey looks good, I've seen him play several times and he's never played badly while I've watched him. Might be a coincidence though.

Warney will be in the team for as long as he likes, he is a hero.

So in conclusion you have Warney, possibly Crosthwaite, and possibly David Hussey.

And if the wicket is taken when the ball has been shined on the non-logo side it is worth 1.02223 times more because everyone knows how much less complicated it is just to shine the logo side.

Hodge wont be around for long? Are you kidding me? On those other players who you claim are more deserving? More deserving than someone with 12,000+ F/C runs and who is the most consistent batsman in Australia?  , there is the matter of Langer, Hayden getting on in years and the spot of Andrew Symonds being far from safe, so I think the selectors will be happy to stick with Hodge and Hussey for as long as they are doing well and I dont see Hodgey being anywhere near a test failure

yes the Vics do have a good side but i think we are getting carried away if we are saying we'd dominate the Asutralian side. Hodge, Lewis, D.Hussey are the genuine contenders with Crosthwaite, Siddle, Mash and White the longer term options. Klinger might one day get there if he keeps developing the way he is. I'm very impressed with the one they call Peter Siddle, he's a ripper of a bowler and i can't see why he won't bowl for Australia one day, also very impressed with Lloyd Mash, the technique and concentration is there he just needs to get more first class experience under his belt, these 2 are the shining lights of Victorian cricket and i believe one day they both will play for Australia.

As much as Denton is a good player, there is no way he is better then Dizzy, McGrath, or Lee.
