After giving this show a chance after hearing a few people rave about it, i can conclude that it is utter garbage and over-rated. How anyone can find it remotely funny is beyond me. What are evryone else's thoughts about this 'Comedy''?

It is funny- subtle humour like the Simpsons.
Bender alone is worth watching.........

Have to disagree, love the show, seen every episode of the four series.
It humour must simply not appeal to you. Thats ok different people like different shows.

Yeah thats cool, i understand. Its my opinion and i know the show has lots of followers. Just not my thing

Hilarious show... imo much better than the simpsons and personally i feel sorry for anyone who doesnt find it funny.

Futurama's target audience is aimed at an older audience. It has a cult following based on the fact that the jokes aren't so blatantly obvious - compared to shows like the Simpsons (and it's also very funny). In many ways Futurama is a mature version of the Simpsons.

like the first episode when bender ********s a brick when the security officers rock up and Frys Nephews place. - not many people pick that one up
I think is great - I have season 1 and 3 on DVD and will get the rest eventually, bender is just a absolute champ!

Maybe it'll come back. Especially if the movie goes well with DVD sales.
When it's good, it's very good. But I don't think it is nearly as consistent as The Simpsons. There are a fair few stinkers mixed in with the hilarious ones, especially later on in seasons 3-4.
Can't go past Zapp and Kif as my favourite characters.

its good, ive got the box set of all seasons, but compared to cartoons like that out, with family guy, simpsons n now american dad, i dont find it as good as them

well according to the age green guide it has been hinted that due to increased DVD sales FOx is thinking of bringing it back
A movie is tippped to be on the way

Well, you know, Futurama is ok.
And by ok I mean the greatest thing man-kind has ever invented!
Absolutely awsome show, I've got the entire collection, and yes, I know its sad but I watch at least 4 episodes per day, (I've seen most episodes around 10-15 times..and I only got the box set a few weeks before xmas).
But Futurama isn't for everyone. Only for brilliant people.
However the simpler mind prefers the more bland, repetitive, predictable comedy of the Simpsons. (Although I've passed my simpsons fase, I still like them).
Also very excited about the up-coming movie. I found an interview with Billy West (voice of Fry, Farnsworth and Zoidberg) confirming that they had started making the first of two direct-to-dvd movies, and atm looks like it will be released in 2007.
