Ok someone in the other thread suggested a skinny criket team.

Bruce Reid and Glen McGrath would have to be the fast bowlers in this team :D

you'll struggle to fill this one I reckon, with genuinely skinny (as opposed to 'not fat' batsmen

Sri Lanka "quicks" (well medium fasts really) have always been anaemic looking to me, I don't ever remember seeing a beefy Sri Lankan bowler.

A kiwi from the 80s who would barely qualify is Trevor Franklin. He was a completely useless opener, but certainly was tall and skinny.

Jeremy Coney, the playing mantis.

Number 5 batsman, excellent catch and smart captain.

Javagal Srinath and Venkatapathy Raju would be handy bowlers.

A few of the Zimbabweans look like they could use a feed...

India's Agarkar would have to get a look in as well. Mind you, you'd have to look bloody hard to find him in the first place. :D :D :p

Hookesy when he first started wasn't exactly well-built and Bob Willis certainly wasn't beefy either. (yes, I know he isn't a batsman, but I had to put him in) He was the subject of the best putdown I'd ever heard about, too. Someone in the crowd in a test in Australia (where else) yelled from the boundary "Hey Willis, I didn't know they could stack sh1t that high!!!'

Not if he was facing you! With those ears it's lucky he's only a medium pacer....otherwise he might take-off mid run!:D

Couple of the Indian players I watched in the SA test look pretty skinny. Ganguly, Dravid to name two bats. Srinath is pretty stalk like too.

I remember a guy Dilip Vengsarkar who was pretty skinny, and a goodbat too. One of the few Indians I seen who was OK against quicks.

Bill Lawry was a bit of a skinny dude too.

Ok, when they had a cricket team going for a row nekkid on all the news a while back, would I be mistaken in thinking that was the redbacks? (I wasn't paying attention, unfotunately, or fortunately, depending on how you look at it.)

And if so, and I think it was Jason Gillespie I saw, there isn't as much to him as you'd think lookin at him.

Gotta nice ass, tho.

Neil Foster would definitely get in as a skinny fast medium bowler.I don't know if Allan Igglesdon ever played against Australia but he was a streak of p*ss as well.

There's a Sri Lankan batsman as well whose so skinny that when he was fielding at short leg to Trescothick off one their spinners Tresco gave it a full blooded lofted sweep which he middled & the ball seemed to dissappear only to have wound up stuck in the guys shirt to his side, the shirt was so big on him that all the extra material just swallowed up the ball. The guy just took the bal out of the shirt & Tresco was out, didn't look too happy either.soa s you can imagine this dude was as skinny as anything-trouble is I can't remember his name.
