After the very successful VAFA Christmas party @ Motel, Knighta and TBP are pleased to present the VAFA New Year's Eve 2006 party. This time we are taking it to the coast and the venue is Portsea Pub and again all VAFA players & supporters are invited to attend. Just tell 'em Knighta sent you for free entry and drink card.
Don't forget about the VAFA NYE afterparty @ Summerdays!
See you on the D floor!

Good to see the festivities move to the Peninsula side of the bay. Last year at BHP was a bit of a disaster.

It's fair to say that BHP didn't put out the welcome mat this year after the 2005 event where Knighta started a fight with the locals after picking up a girl whose boy friend was at the bar buying drinks and OE's Sean deMoreton was locked up for D & D and Nick Bartram deceided to get naked on the dance floor.
From memory though Alphonse you enjoyed yourself immensly. The way you tagged that busty blonde can only be compared to the Tony Libertorre halcyon days.

This may be my only sober post for a couple of weeks as I venture down to the Portsea Pub over New Years and hit the town this weekend trying to attract girls whose families have neglected them.
Think of all those deprived women at xmas who need loving too!
Anyway, get to Portsea Pub NYE and then to Summerdayze for a massive party with me and TPB.
I'll be the one chewing my face off speaking absolute rubbish....

I told her she was getting an upgrade free of charge...who could reject that offer?

I think that was the night Nick Bartram, tried to pick up Tim Kennedy. The boy from Wodonga didnt know what hit him, there is none of that carry on in the north east. He eventually had to move home to get away i think. Probably cost nobs relegation in retrospect.

Won't be making an appearance again, so have to decline the invite.
VFL contract issues who don't allow me to attend. :D

Who invited YOU? When it comes to VAFA, you're yesterday's news.

Have read and have been told on these forums before, that everyone with some sort of connection or involvement in the VAFA is welcome.
I am not trying to make you angry, Eddie as we have had the odd altercation on here in the past.
How could I be yesterday's new, now working at a VFL club ?
What were you suggesting by saying I was yesterday's news ?

Benny I think he means you're...old news, over the hill, past your prime, a has been, old stock, now second fiddle, unwanted, no longer desired, past it, throw in the towel, walk away, give up, don't come back!

I don't usually make to many negative comments, but.....
Anybody who thinks by having the Roy logo as their avatar gives them a higher social standing is just straight out pretentious. A man maketh the clothes, not vice-versa.
Btw, for cheap drugs at Summerdayze see a guy called Andrew Parker and tell him JT sent you, he'll sort you out with some bang up gear.

I've got the logo there coz I like the brand and the clothes, not to make myself feel more important JT.
I don't need drugs as am not going to Summerdayze.

In a word Alphonse my dear friend.... MASSIVE!!!
Me and Knighta absolutely smashed the Portsea Pub before heading to the Conti at about 2am. Got home as the sun was rising, 4hrs sleep before Knighta's latest missus (tidy little piece too... lucky the random had left) came and picked us up and drove us to summerdayze. Saw the godfather of the VAFA Forum "Mark Zanotti" as well as many other forumers rocking the D floor. After Summerdayze we hit Pacha at QBH to see the Bodyrockers before stopping of at prince on the way home to Knighta's new pad in Brighton.
Massive shout out to SMG who contiued his great form taking a nice blonde home from the Point, then sending her home in a taxi before going to a party in Sth Yarra, this time taking home a hot brunette.
In other NYE news the Slitherin Snake slithered his way to some old stock while Ben.Carbonaro (ex-Rupertswood now Werribee VFL) partied the night away in skinny leg jeans and Dior sunglasses.

Was Timberlake spotted at Summerdayze?
Last I saw of him a groupie was lighting a match off his "flint-hard guns, Smith and Wesson"

To say the least BP, to say the least!!! A massive night was had by The BP and myself, and at one stage not even security and a fence could prevent us from rocking on all night and day and then all night again. Thank god for the underworld and their ability to develop the backyard lab and the magically white powder....
For all those who are interested, my next party is going to be on my dad's 50ft cruiser which is moored at St Kilda Marina. I'm going with the Captain Stabbin theme haha!!!!

Not suprising to hear you lads carving it up. They can say a lot of things about Knight Rider but they could never say he doesn't know how to give it a crack or host a killer function.
Kudos.
Already looking forward to the Boat Party, though i am not on good terms with the people of the Marina after New Year at Riva.

Alphonse,
Word has filtered through that you are holding a VAFA event at the Bratwurst & Hotdog Hotel this coming Saturday night???
Can you confirm this rumour?

Alphonse,
Mum gave me a new pair for Christmas so I can bring a spare pair if you don't own any. Quick question though, why don't you own any? What shoes do you wear when you go out? Anyway, I'm more than happy to bring down my spare pair but they are size 13. Will they fit?
As for my New Year's Eve, I spent it dancing the night away at the Marquee. Because I was one of the first 50 people in the door I was given a VIP medallion for 2006 so I'll be there every Friday night this year. (as long as I don't have an early start on Saturday's at MSAC :p ) Had a great night!
What date is the party on the boat?
All clear thanks.

It’s a possibility TBP. Had some discussions with the Slithering Snake and he thinks conditions have improved at the BHP, I am not convinced. Not a official function though, leave them to Knight Rider, mine would suffer in comparison.

The VAFA Captain Stabbin Boat Party is yet to have a set date, but with the Slitherin' Snake going O/S at months end we'll probably have it just before he leaves.
Unfortunately I'm going to be in the Portsea/Sorrento area this weekend but am hoping to catch the ferry across next weekend for a crack at the BHP.
Also, some of you trippers may already know about this, but 2 Many DJ's are playing my joint (Room 608) on Friday 27th Jan. If anyone is interested in joining me on the night, please send a PM!

Portsea Pub is so late 90's it aint funny. Going there for NY's outdated, covercharge too, overpriced. Almost as sad as the dudes who rock up there Portsea Swim night with short tees to show their race number, even though they swam more than 16 minutes for the race.
50' footer, meh, I have access to a 98' Super Maxi. Would put Captain Stabbin to the sisenhower.

Didn't get to the Portsea Pub but I can tell you that Summerdayze was absolutely crazy. My highlight was the VVVIP afterparty in Bob Sinclair's hotel room.
