Simple Question, which will play as Dean Cox backup, one wont be in our best 22, this is a good problem to have. Which one will be sent to the WAFL peoples

Probably neither but I know who will be around the longest and it wont be Gardiner.

assuming they are in form, there is room in the 22 for both

Seaby's development shouldn't be stalled in order for Gards to possibly rekindle his glory years.

Agreed. Seaby should be the back-up ruckman

Yeah Gardiner is complete rubbish, a couple of poor games with a busted up foot, let's just throw the guy on the scrapheap.

Some of you people have very short memories.

a fit gardy > a young seaby

Gardiner, and Seaby will come in when Gardiner gets injured or if, god forbid Cox gets injured.

Give us a fit Gardiner and Cox will be the one playing back-up.

Please stop writing off gardiner think back a couple of years and just remember how bloodly good he really was. Give him a chance to get over his chronic injuries and hope he gets back to the way he was. To answer the question Gardiner before Seaby but i believe both in our best 22 with Cox.

Just another of the many examples of you lacking sufficient intelligence to read and understand.

I hope you are joking.

gardy is only 26

if he can get his feet and hamstrings right then he could play another 5-6 seasons

Gardiner.

But both are good enough to play a part in our best 22.

Gardiner provided he is fully fit and has not lost too much of his agility

Some of his ruckwork in 2003 was simply sublime

more, ruckmen generally play a little longer than most.

people gotta remember that jako had a rough season the first one back from a serious knee injury, he recaptured his form (if never his speed) and played some bloody good football

gardiner, should he get fit and develop a little enthusiasm for the game again, could become a top line ruckman again

good luck to him, i hope he does

I didn't say anything negative against Gards. I'm just saying that given his track record of injury, we shouldn't be holding too much hope that Gards can play a full season. I'm also saying that Seaby is developing nicely, and we should continue to nurture that. We need to look to the future.

Gardy.

Like Milenko said, some people have short memories. Gardy when in form is one of the best ruckmen on the ground and his mobility allows him to move forward and present a target.

The best number 1 draft pick by a yard.

Who else is there? Banfield and no others come to mind.

he's overated

a fit gardy would be good for the eagles no doubt, but i doubt whether he will be fit, i therefore think that seaby will be the backup ruckman to cox
