hello fellow hawk fans,

just a quick g'day and happy new year to you all. I am a long time guest first time poster. I have been following the hawks since i was about 7 y.o playing for the heathcote hawks in southern sydney in the 80's (hawthorn were in their prime at the time)

i have now given up playing footy, and resort to watching and cheering. I only get to see one game a year live (when they play sydney at the SCG), but seeing as they dont play here in 06, i might have to make the journey south.

anyway, enough dribble

Go Hawks in 06 and Beyond !!!

its funny you say that, i gave up trying to covince people to see the light a few years ago. i don't mind Rugby League, but IMO its got nothing on AFL.

now i just have to convince the swans supporters that there are 15 other teams in the competition (a bit hard after this years effort !!!)

I have considered joining, but i am about 2 hrs south of sydney, so its a bit far to travel (i have been a interstate member of HFC for a while)

There are loads of social messages in the Simpsons TV program .... both for citizens of the USA and Americanized Australia. But did you know there are American Shadforths over there who wear Hawks guernsies :D .
