He's crap.

He's very good, but not as good as people say he is. The way he's built up you'd think he's better than Carey. But he's just a very good midfielder.

Top class midfielder, but midfielders are worth a dime a dozen.

Give me a class KPP any day of the week.

You are all insane. He is a champion and will continue to surge towards legend status.

If he were in your teams, the bragging would never end.

Superstar of the game but shouldn't be in anyone's top 10 best players of all time like alot of people already have him in there!

See the title of this thread.
But seriously I agree that while he is a great player he is no one of the greatest players of all time YET. He has still a long long way to go to even catch up to modern greats such as Carey, Voss, Hird, Buckley, Harvey, even West, etc.

I know mate.

If i made a forum about who is better Judd or Wells, you would probably be the only one who would say Wells, even maybe other Roos supporters would say Judd aswell.

Judd will be the sort of player we will tell our grandkids about.
He is a great footy player now,and he will become an absolute superstar in years to come.
I'm sure he will be a Brownlow medallist a couple more times.
He can come and join the Pies anytime he likes.

I hope people are joking when they say they he is overrated...

Absolute gun. Would be just about the first picked in any team (save for prehaps Jonathon Brown, depending on whether you require a midfielder or KP). His pace is amazing.

And I suppose you've met Chris Judd and you are secretly having an affair with Rebecca Twigley and are undercover trying to arrest Michael Gardiner and Ben Cousins whilst giving Woosha advice on who to play up forward?

In seriousness, Jarryd_S summed it up perfectly. He is an excellent player but he has been blown way out of proportion.

Chris Judd is an absolute star. I would like the see other players in the AFL do what he does. Geez people are blind if they say he is crap. They are obviously just jealous.

He's probably the best player in the competition.

The reason some call him overrated is because there are a bunch of people listing him as one of the greatest of all time. Somewhere, well down the track, he may reach this status. But not yet.

Buddha did ok for himself - came 3rd in the brownlow 4 times (91, 93, 94, 95), and then a 5th the year after that (only 2 votes off winning). :p :D

The guy is a champion. He gets tagged every week and yet still dominates. The guy is good in every way. Problem is melburnians dont see him enough unless you have foxtel.

I am going to the footy next week not that I want to watch Essendon that much but to watch this bloke. One of the few reasons why anyone would want to watch today's matches.

Well said.

I watch (or listen) to the Eags performances every week and C.Judd is the stand-out performer week in week out.

He puts up with the best (worst) that can be thrown at him and doesn't just get through it he dominates.

I'd like to see any of you :D:D:D:Dants do that.

The man is a legend already.

He's not that great, really. :thumbsd:

I mean apart from his blistering pace, his pack-bursting strength, his precise skills, his abiity to deliver with both feet, his ability to move forward and score goals, his leadership abilities and his proven ability to win games almost single-handedly, what's so great about him?

Best player in the AFL today by far.

There, I underrated him.

Judd is the best player in the competition. Clearly. Provided he has a decent run with injury, he'll be one of the all-time greats. I find it hard to fathom why so many people were rating Hodge ahead of him a few weeks ago. Hodge is excellent, and I'd have him playing for Collingwood in a heartbeat -- but Judd? He's the shizzle.

has had an amazing run without injuries and with the help of team mates have seemed to develop a viable gameplan to negate the effects of taggers this year. It also helps that umpires are finally taking note of illegal stopping tactics.

Yes, its shameless the amount of hero worship the guy gets but its great for the competition. Look how popular the NBA was when Michael Jordan was playing(not saying he is at that level yet). With players like judd and davey to take over the reign from buckley, harvey and voss, the excitement factor will ensure the competition's continued popularity.

Did you see last week on the footy show how he messed up a bounce but did a behind the back soccer kick over his head without even blinking? Hes a freak.

hmmmmm:eek: Just a very good midfielder, that is underating hi by far, the guy is going to be the best midfielder to play the game, the guy is an absolute freak, the best in the business.
