Brilliant in both...but Blackadder just gets over the line for me. The things he used to say to Baldrick had me in stitches:p

I chose Blackadder just cause it's miles ahead of Mr Bean. So many great one liners in it.

Also i loved the theme songs of Blackadder. Here's the first one:

The sound of hoof beats 'cross the glade,
Good folk, lock up your son and daughter,
Beware the deadly flashing blade,
Unless you want to end up shorter.

Black Adder, Black Adder, he rides a pitch black steed.
Black Adder, Black Adder, he's very bad indeed.

Black: his gloves of finest mole,
Black: his codpiece made of metal,
His horse is blacker than a vole,
His pot is blacker than his kettle.

Black Adder, Black Adder, with many an cunning plan.
Black Adder, Black Adder, you horrid little man.

Blackadder definitley - unfortunately will be remembered more for Mr Bean by the Ludd's.

However he should be smacked for Jonny English - not getting that time back ever....

I voted Blackadder, but in general it should be Mr Bean.

Blackadder is by far the superior show, but Mr Bean is more distinctive, more popular in the US and a much better showcase of Atkinson's comedic mannerisms, although they were also fairly evident in series 1 of blackadder.

Black Adder back and Forth ...

Let joy fill every Briton's heart.
For now the country's going to make it.
At last a King who looks the part.
At last a Queen who looks good naked.
Blackadder, Blackadder, A monarch with panache.
Blackadder, Blackadder He's got a nice moustache.
Everything he wants he'll get.
The world is now Blackadder's oyster.
Most Prime Ministers are wet.
But Baldrick he is even moister.
Blackadder, Blackadder, A dog who's got his bone.
Blackadder, Blackadder, A bastard on the throne.
Blackadder, Blackadder, His beard is neatly curled.
Blackadder, Blackadder, He's going to rule the world.

Which one will you remember Rowan Atkinson the most for?

If the question was asking to name the better show then I would have named Blackadder however it was asking which one will I remember Rowan Atkinson for so the answer is Mr. Bean.

Both brilliant, and both show off Rowan's excellent talents. I don't really see him as 'Blackadder' or 'Bean', more just as Rowan Atkinson as I've enjoyed him in pretty much everything he's done (outside of Jonny English obviously). His live show was outstanding and his work on Not the 9 O'Clock news was some of his best stuff - The Thin Blue Line had it's moments too.

Last I heard Rowan was doing it tough on the back of Jonny English bombing, and there were doubts whether he'd return to acting. Hopefully he has since had a change of heart.

...and a little look on IMDB later, tells me he's appeared in a couple of films since and stars in 'Keeping Mum' a British film.

ALSO - he is working on BEAN 2!

Which sounds like another fish-out-of-water (well most Mr. Bean skits were that anyway) film, but this time set in a European country in which Bean doesn't speak the language.

Should be interesting, the first movie had some laughs, it was obviously different from the show but had some classic Bean moments too.

Easily Blackadder. Just because Bean was well received in the USA doesn't mean the show was of any greater quality, the exact opposite is more likely. I found it hard to sit through more than 10-15 minutes of Bean, whilst I can't get enough of Blackadder.

Thoroughly enjoyed his work on Not The Nine O'Clock News too.

Blackadder was best - especially the 3rd and 4th series with Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry.

Mr Bean's first two seasons were gold but then it went downhill for mine.

blackadder 4 best season of blackadder ever

We probably need a poll on which series of Blackadder was best, but I always considered 4 to be the weakest of the good 3.
For me

Series 2.
Series 3, loved Hugh Lawrie

Series 4.

and the other one I wouldn't watch if it was the only DVD I had for my new 300" Plasma.
