This is dissapointing, they should give Dew a go at least he has a fair chance of belting the ball around the park.

If Northern Districts were involved we might have a look but they aren't.

I saw this last year and it was a great evening. There were about 5,000 people there. Shattock played for Glenelg. Tredders played for West Torrens and was a formidable fielder, though I don't remember anything distinguishing about his batting.

Cricket starts at 5 and finishes up at around 8:30.

Yes Tredders was great in the field last season but the batting wasnt exactly top notch.

....Tredders wasnt great in the field last season....Yes he was. Fielded like a leopard and one return took down the stumps from the boundary.

The Redbacks are playing a 20/20 game next Tuesday against the Warriors too. Should be the comeback of Taity. Work permitting, I will get to see that one.

Yeah should be good, im probably going. Hopefully taity has a good game even if it is just a 20/20.

I remember seeing him take 8 for 50 odd against tassie.

Says in the paper he didnt play much because of a knee strain, any news? Was instructed by the PAFC not to play due to a light jar of the knee at training that morning. Nothing serious and was expected to continue training the next day if OK.
Turned up togged up for West Torrens. Had a few balls bowled down to him before the match for the benefit of the crowd and looked OK. Acted as 12th man from then on and wandered round doing the old 'meet and greet'.
