Dont know if anyone else has seen this, but apparently there was an offer to take up the option of buying a "note" for the WCE that came with the membership gear this year. We have premium seats, so maybe it didn't come with all memberships? Not sure, as I still haven't got mine in the mail yet! However, my Old Man has and has just purchased 6 secured notes for us! :) No more lining up for us at finals time :)

Also, for thoese on the waiting list for memberships; we were able to buy 6 "notes" even though we only have 2 memberships, so we've taken up another 4 memberships despite not being on the waiting list... We could only register them in family names though. The notes were around $1300 each, plus the four extra memberships.

Also, any noteholders here who actually sit in the "noteholders section"? If so, is it true that they serve decent beer there?? (ie not mid**********e).

Pretty sure you wont get a noteholders seat for 2006. Or that is what I have been told, you have been told different? Apparantly you will just go onto the waiting list for the note holder seating. Also, the seats are just the normal ones with the normal bar etc.

I had considered becoming a noteholder but considering they have gone to $1300 from $800 last year, I think the horse has bolted. Would gladly take one if offered though ;)

We were offered 4 seats in a row in the noteholdes section but elected to keep our existing seats in block 109 plus 2 extra in 109 and another 2 in 108. Regarding the price, if you think $1300 is expesive now then I'd suggest waiting another few years to see if you can secure one will not result in them being any cheaper :)

My old man bought ours in 1991 and I believe it was $800 for 4. Not a bad investment Id say.

They are a bit like land really......Price aint going to go down.

Get in while you can as the club certainly is milking it for all they can given the likely success of the team over the next few years.
