I am looking for a picture of our first banner against Collingwood in 1997.

The one which said;
Proud of the Past
Confident of the Future

Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

Hey i was at the game with my family asa 9 yeard old! I got a photo of that banner as me dad took a camera. Its a good shot as well. I have one just of the banner and then another one of the team running through it! I dont haver a scanner though....................

I took that photo :D ........one of my best shots I reckon!!! Love standing there with the boys just bustin though!!!

As for that photo Shane.......do you have the book "the inner sanctum"?? I just went though it, and they do have a photo there of a banner....peter Burgoyne is still wearing 26 back then, and looks quite the young lad. But I dont think it is the one you are looking for. They have a couple of photos of the scoreboard as well. I have a scrap book, of all the news clippings from the 97 games, will go though it and see if it's there........but I dont think it is.

Just looked shane.......and no, sorry its not in any of my clippings nor is it in any of TPTTP mag's from 97. Had a thought though.........ask the cheersquad, I am sure they would have a photo of it......Ian gets photo's of every banner they do.

I think that i've got that picture as it was on the framed picture Port Adelaide's 1st game, which had the first goal, etc. which by the way was limited to a few hundred.
