I haven't got the foggiest what this all means, but If you want us to have a running commentary, I'll start off.

Richie: Welcome to the firssssst of the VB sssssuper ssssummer ssssseries of international cricket between Ausssssstralia and Sssouth Africa. Now lets go out to the center of the ground for his pitch report, It's Goodmorning Tony Greig.

Thank you Richie. And what a beautiful day for cricket. As you can see from the cracks in the pitch, the fast bowlers are in for a magnificent day today.....

Richie I'll just stick my key into the pitch to see if there is any moisture. It seems to be going in very easily Richie. $hit, I can't get it out Richie, the bloody key is stuck. There is no way that key is going to come out Richie. Looks like I may have inadvertantly helped the bowlers even more. This may very well be the first cricket test ever where a set of keys is protuding from the middle of the pitch.

Chappelli: What an amazing start for Australia, 0/50 off the first 2 overs. As a result, Polly Pollock has made a bowling change and will bring on Paul 'Frog in the Blender' Adams. How would you go keeping to him Heals?

Healy: I could do a better job than Gilchrist for starters! Want to see my 26 broken bones in my arms as proof?

Chappelli: Some other time, the over is about to start! In comes Adams to bowl...

Healy: Well if you ask me Adams should just get on with it...I mean, I played my entire career with my hands held together my sticky tape. Besides, Adams doesn't even use his head when playing anyway.

Chappell: Well it looks like we might have a short delay while Adams is taped up...we'll go to a break.

(Instead of going to an ad, Nine's production team dithers for a few seconds)

Chappell: What the f**ks going on? How much money is DOnald getting paid by Hansie? This game is a farce...McGrath 50 already?

(Nine cuts to an ad break for Sidchrome tool kit....then returns)

(The Cricket returns)

Chappell: After that slight delay, the players are back in position ready to face the next ball.

Donald to Hayden
3.1 - Hayden hits it through covers for 3

Chappell - Fantastic stroke there by Hayden, he moves onto 4, McGrath at the other end is on 54 and the score is 0/58.

Donald to McGrath
3.2 - McGrath smashed this low, and it knocks out Pollock at mid-off

Chappell - Oh nooo .. this is disasterous, he has been knocked out cold, gee that must've hurt.

Healy - All the players have run to Pollocks attention, except the two batsman, Hayden and McGrath, who have run 10.
The score moves onto 0/68 now with McGrath on 64....

CHAPPELI: Anbd at this stage we've got a change in the commentary - it will by Mark Taylor and William Morris Lawry.

BILL: Thanks very much Ian, good morning Mark, good morning all and what a glorious start to the 2 batsmen out there. This move to bring McGrath up the order has worked for sure.

MARK: Yes certainly has Bill, but the Proteas are looking good, everything will be right.

CROWD ROARS

BILL: Oh and we've got a streaker of some kind, carrying a placard...oh gee it's bloody Max Walker - what does it say 'give me my job back' well this is just typical of Max bloody Walker - what a clown.

MARK: I can see why they call hom Tangles.

BILL: Well the police have caught him and he's making his way of the ground well I can't believe this - oh gee, it's all happening Max Walker has just picked up a stump and hurled it at Darryl Cullinan well this is unbelieveable.
