yep thats the way we gotta be. we have to look forward and aim for better things this season. we must be positive in everything we do. get the right mix of guys in the team. its an exciting time at the club. with the middle aged players getting to the time in there careers where they bloosom. watch out for ozzie, changa, browny, sammy, hodgey, clarkey, willo these sorts of guys to continue to impress and i expect changa and ozzie to have stunning years. i think if they can remain injury free that theyll be very good. ozzie could be very handy if he could calm his aggression whilst changa has shown glimpses and needs to remain injury free.
we need to be smart and make sure we win more games, 8 is a reasonable aim and we must strive to win and not worry about draft picks no more. our focus is now on our grp of players we've got, its our club and we must now improve and continue to strive to be the very best! we can be back to the glory days, it takes time and im sure many are aware of that and we must support the coach clarko and the skipper richie and the entire hawthorn team and club community. be proud, passionate and be positive in 2006, theres no point looking at the bad things all the time, focus on what we are improving on and we'll be a happier team at hawthorn. All supporters of all clubs should be filled with optimism and enthusiasm at this stage of the year. It's a mighty game, this our game. The Hawks were still in the hunt for most games last season up until sometimes 5, even 10 min. into the last quarter. With the young kids, the business end was too demanding on their inexperience. Season 2........with Andrew Russell fired up with the increased fitness of so many....Jacobs, Miller, Boyle, Changa, Dawson and Roughy. Roughy will make 2006 "his", the talls BARKER,BOYLE,BRENNAN...THAT THERE'S MARKING POWER and a return to finals' experience.:cool: thankyou verymuch
