I have a feeling Shannon might be brought along slower than people might think. His body isnt quite right for AFL at the moment and has niggling OP which has restricted his training somewhat. I think he will play between 5- 10 games but anyone who expects more might be disapointed. I just want him to get his body right this year. I think McKinley will debut before Hurn and play more games next season.

To be honest, I dont know alot about Spangher. I know he is very raw but an elite endurance athlete who provides alot of drive from defence. Interestingly, I read an article on him in inside sport in which Matt made mention of being a steeplechase runner and having a 3km personal best, which would have placed him high in the all time 3km trials at the DC (I think he said 9min 20secs). He still fell into the top 10 this year but he said he had the flu (like afew other TAC boys). I dont expect Spangher to play next season, and if he did, I would only say 2 games just to give him a taste.

Id say he will play a few games. Woosha has shown a willingness to blood kids early on, so there is no reason to suggest Hurn and McKinley wont get a run in 2006. Spangher's body just doesnt look big enough at the minute though so id say itll be 2007 for him, though i could be wrong.
