An unsourced rumour on the Essendon Board, New Assistant Coach (http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?t=220232):

Some real news for everyone. Tim Watson will be one of the new Assistant coaches at Essendon after being interviewed today by coach Kevin Sheedy.

This might mean after an early impressive pre season Jobe might get a crack at it!!

What does everyone think, i think it will be great, especially for out young midfielders. Expect the news to come out very soon..

I suppose he can't really do the sort of damage he did to the Saints list, without the ultimate power, but ....

(and in a strange sort of way, we owe him thanks for Kosi, Nick and Luke, so he wasn't all bad).

Yep, Blight was absolutely terrible, and he actually had a better list than Watson because he also had Kosi, Roo, Voss, Hamill and Gehrig.

Blight was a great coach a long time ago, however Watson was just plain ********.
