tyntynder played the night before and beat balranald. so tyntynder is the side to beat i would say.. does anyone know if balranald filled their best side.. if not who was missing?
Don't talk rubbish mzc, every post you have ever done is about Balranald so you should know!! Don't go talking up the Dogs to try and fly under the radar!!
Balranald v Tooleybuc Manangatang for the CMFL Grand Final. On what I've seen in the night series and on the recruits to come. Tyntynder will be the big danger and daylight to the rest. Any other thoughts?

Maybe keep half an eye on Kerang with Swan Hill, L/G and Boga to fight out the minor placings!!

Well big balls seems you know enough about everyone and every thing at raiders that you might be well equiped to come in and take the job on . Do you even play or are you involved in a club because if you are put all your energy into them and stop bagging out players and there club with your innacurate dribble
i didn't think what BB has said was worth having a crack at BUSTA. you are obviously a Raiders fan, let us in on what is going on down there. What is going on with Trevor moving to Mildura. Surely your club wouldn't be happy with that??

With the list tyntynder have, if they don't finish higher than tooleytang and play off in the gf then they have underachieved IMO

Balranald was no where near there full side. they had their young kids and a few reserve players.

Swan Hill have a reasonable list, with blokes like hugh foott, callan beasy, brett pekin...few sides will have the capacity to go with them in the air. big challenge for their onball brigade to get the ball long to them. could be more competitive than most think though how will swan hill go this year?

Swan Hill have a tall side although are lacking in the midfield department, whilst brooks and burke are dangerous you couldnt expect brooks to be able to run out the season with that hammy.
Does anyone know who else they will be relying on in the middle?

Tyrell and Singh did play. Fitzgerald, Russell, Hooker, Atkins, Milward, Filo, Jess, Cardello, Senior and Russo was the list i got of there supporters that night. Quick to let us know they had plenty left.

Think that is the big question mark on T/M, as it is a bit with Tyntynder as they have faded out of finals a little softly recently.

i bet they did. i think the cheque book will be coming out after the night series. were asking a lot of questions about who all the new players at tyntynder were and were quite annoyed that they didn't beat the dogs. i thought fitzgerald played or was that a brother? russell will not play at all, about 3 clubs in bendigo think they have services of milward + balranald with the roos to win the bout with a nice sealed envelope with plenty of 0's after the first number. lucas from balranalds premiership side to play at tooleytang this season.

damn straight sockit, a culture that is being changed at tyntynder atm. to many young players at club think playing in a senior side that makes the finals is good enough, not hungry for more success

now that i have all that off my chest. L/G to be team to watch this year. realise that this has already been said but watched them the other night and were very unlucky not to be playing tomorrow night. have a lot of hard running youngsters who throw their body at the footy no matter the cost. could be a surprise packet and finish as high as 4th IMO

have been watching some night series and there are a few youngsters at cohuna i would expect to get a fair bit of senior footy after showing some promise (no names sorry, don't know them). have been impressed by josh ewart for tyntynder and a young kid who wore number 27 for swan hill the other night.

the 4 swan hill boys played on the weekend and so did Matheson.
apparently they did quite alright too...how does everyone rate all the boys? havnt seen all of them play
How are the new pick-up from the Diamond Valley goin for Barham?
A couple of very handy pick-ups indeed. All three that have confirmed clearances, Assi,Valvo and Ireland, all have played in DV divvy 1.
Two fast skillful onballers, and a pretty good ruckman.

Gaylor and Ford won Swan Hill the colts grand final last year. VERY handy players with thoolen also a massive asset in the ruck. never seen stroobants play. Matheson looks like a strong figure, played full back a bit in the seniors last year from what i've heard, playing forward for pioneers, saw in the paper he kicked 2 goals on the weekend. Taylor a fast half back/ half forward, played a lot of seniors last year i think. Lonergan looks like he's worked hard on his footy and fitness over the last few years and probably deserves the opportunity.
bit disappointed some of the boys who missed out.. seems like its all about size these days, with less emphasis on skill.
hope all the boys do well.. they got off to a good start, winning their first match.

Phill will be lining up with Marybinong Park in the EDFL. He would have went a lot better last year if the coach had of just left him alone and let him play the game

Always looked forward to lining up on him. Had a lot of good battles over a couple of seasons. When he was on he was bloody dangerous, i copped a couple of floggings early on. If you could niggle him long enough he would crack and throw in the towel pretty quickly though, pity it to so long to work him out.

Rumour has it that Ash Wedding will not be returning to the Blues this season..
can anyone from kerang inform me as too why ash wedding played on the half back flank last year and then goes up too darwin and kicks 100+ goals in a premiership team with many games being in the wet? he is obviously a goal kicker, showing that last year, on numerous occasions kicking multiple goals off the half back flank, why wasn't he in the forward line?

Booker played for Balranald last season, the money would have been better there than Sth Mildura. He started the season off well but his game slipped when he moved from Mildura to Melbourne. Maybe the travelling didn't agree with him, his first 1/2 dozen games were good but definately not the superstar that the Balranald Supporters were expecting.
