Doesnt anyone have any goss on the Southern Football League as there is never anything said about it. Which clubs have the money and have spent and which ones havent. Its never talked about. I know Balwyn won the flag this year with their big spending ways

Ive gotta mate involved at East Brighton who believes they've poached the goalkicker Damian Lynch from Old Xavs and another former junior star who represented at VFL level for a number of years.

So there must some activity out there.

Who was the better Moon in the southern league Paul or Darren both fantastic players who held more than there own even into their 30's especially after being over 6 foot and putting their body on the line for 15 years could play the game like no tomorrow quick as the wind in their day and could take 20 marks a game each without even trying

Not sure there mate.

Only heard that he may have quit already.

St Kilda City had problems last time they were in Div 1 with having enough players. Won thje flag in about 2001 or 2002 then (when the $$ ran out) were relegated 2 years later. Won the Div 2 flag last year when a few of their players returned.

Typical happens all the time you win a flag and then they go how will Kangas go this year in Div 2,St Kilda City were terrible in 2004 in Div 1 could it happen again!!!!!!

With those player leaving East Brighton there must be some good coin floating around at East Brighton. Hence why Lynch might have gone there. If he has at all.

Best of luck to 'Heady' (B.Shalders) and his younger bro 'Roller', both quality players and good blokes, seem to be recruiting ok from what I hear .....
