Listeningto Bush lie through his teeth to my country, so no updates from me for an hourwhile I try to not put my fist through the computer screen.

Well, going on WA's season so far, it was bound to happen.
Marcus North got another chance after averaging just 21.8 in the first 5 matches and comes in to make a duck. Not good enough.
Remember, WA were leading Tasmania by 171 runs on the first innings when the two sides met at the WACA earlier this season and still managed to lose by 2 wickets for Tasmania's only win for the season.
Its not over yet. Bandy and Ronchi have to make big scores to get our lead up to 200 - we need it.

Bad Light has stopped play. Given the last 3 overs took 3/1 maybe WA have an excuse this time.

Begs the question: Is Marcus North overrated?
ummmmmmmm wtf?
All this without Dorey. Stop the presses!
Pathetic effort from North once again, none too pleased with Marsh and Voges however they have been rock solid for WA this year.
This was the last scoreline i predicted when i logged on.

Good bowling but the batting let us down however WA are still in the better position.
I thought it couldn't get any worse.
I was wrong. :(
All out 86.
Now watch WA make 550.
Feel like a cyber-beer UL so we can drown our sorrows? :D
Onewicket down so far this morning...Rogers heading for aton
5 for 156
Gillies 14
Rogers 97 (I think)
Gillies gone for 15

Ton up for Rogers
From
135 balls
189 minutes
16 fours
6 for 164

Rogers has been a beacon in an otherwise dismal effort by the batsmen in this match, he is currently 112*.
17 wickets in about 100 overs
Pitch problems at Bellerive?
Good bowling?
Poor batting?
Combination of all three?
WA all out for 215

1/63 after 22 overs (trail by 124)
Bevan 30, Di Venuto 30
Clawing our way back into it, but there's a long way to go yet. Somehow my gut feeling tells me that we are about to have a major batting collapse... :o
Disappointing finish to WAs innings. I was hoping for a 300+ score. Sounds like the pitch is a problem but if you apply yourself you will make runs.
Marcus North tsk tsk tsk had it all but I fear his time is passing > I would worry if WA had to make more than 200 to win:o

TAS 3/177
Di Venuto with a century and Bailey still in
4/185 now, Di Venuto out.
Looks like the collapse is well and truly on......:(
Tassie ended up 6/229, a lead of 100.
WA chasing 148 to win, currently 1/12.
Tassie did well to get to 276 all out, Bailey making 76.
Mind you, they could have done a whole lot better, given that at one stage they were 6/276. :(
