View Full Version : Happy Birthday Graeme Smith
The way this man has changed South African Cricket over the past 4 years , he deserves a thread unto himself to wish him a Happy 25th Birthday :thumbsu:
Happy Bday Graeme :p ...
Birthday sex with his missus?
Cmon fellas, who's jealous? :D
I think he's bad for the game he looks and acts like such a Nazi prick and Jub Jub agrees but I would do it with his missus who is one of the best looking women I've ever seen.

How? They still haven't done anything of note at all.
Exactly, South Africa is worse than under Cronje who was a much better cricketer and statesman and Aussie crowds warmed to him more than Smith who looks a smartarse. They were a better team in the early and mid 90's under Hansie who was treated badly by the cricket authorities before his death. And Smith was born the day the underarm occurred. In my book this was a portent for him to be a bastard on the cricket field.

You're an idiot. How is he 'such a Nazi prick'? How is he a bastard on the field?
Worse?
We are now united.
An example is how he reacted when ntini took that wicket in the test match, he went over him and just showed massive respect to him. Under Cronje nothing of this would have happened.
If we are going to talk about Nazis? Shane Warne maybe?
Smith is very good for the game. A young talented batsman who averaes over 50 in tests and averaged 40 in ODI at a SR of nearly 80. Also captained the World 11.
Anyone who says he is a crap player or not worthy of captain are plain stupid, just look at his beatiful captaincy agaisnt Sri lanka when they had the upper hand.
We were a rabble off the field and on it and he has changed our ODI team alot and now we are 2nd. The challenge is to move up in test rankings and I believe the Australia tour has been good for us. Could have easily been 1-0.
I would rather Smith but still have great respect for Hansie.

He looks a determined person so maybe you mistake that for Nazi tendencies. You would have to ask his opponents whether or not he's a bastard but from listening to his press conferences he seems fair-minded, balanced and objective. As for the underarm comment, surely that's mildly irrational!!!!!!!!!!!!
Up yours smith.

At least as a captain he has a presence. He comes across as a pretty good bloke but you wonder what he's really like when blokes like Pietersen, Fleming and Vaughan find him difficult to deal with. They can't all be wrong.

Pietersen because of jealousy, Vaughan because he called him a queer :D and i dunno about Flemo.

Why did he call Vaughanie a queer when he's married with children? And why would Pietersen be jealous of him when he seems so rapt with playing under the Britannia flag? Actually I read somewhere that Pietersen called Smith slow witted and lacking in intelligence.

Just the way vaughan acts on the field I guess, also called Freddie a "big baby", this was on there last tour in RSA.
Pietersen didnt make one of the rep teams and IIRC Smith was captain of that team, maybe something happened way before now? who knows.
Smith isnt slow witter or lacking in intelligence.

Maybe the under 19 team it was for apparently Smith was the top scorer for the under 19 tournament and I noticed Rudolph was in the team but no Pietersen even though he would have been about the right age. I saw something about the big baby taunt during the ICC series, Flintoff thought it was tame and didn't worry about it but Vaughan apparently has this huge chunk in his bk talking about why he can't Smith.

Thats just it, Flintoff didnt get sucked in and him and Smith were chatting alot during the ICC games, but Vaughan wasnt so strong I guess.

Vaughan didn't have to worry I suppose, not good enough for the World XI.
Vaughan should have been in it and captain before Smith who is too young to be captain and too arrogant. And he beat the Aussies in the Ashes.
