We haven't had a decent trivia for some time, and with time to kill before the NAB Cup and/or Premiership Season, I thought I would introduce it. Anybody can have a go, just make sure the questions relate to the greatest team in Australia, Collingwood.
What do Ron McKeown (1984-93) and Mark Richardson (1991-2002) have in common?

Not sure if true, but that wasn't the answer I was looking for.

It was mid 2000 on a cold, wet day at the MCG FWIW. One match, and he wasn't too bad, either.
New question:
How many goals did Brad Fuller score against Essendon on Anzac Day 1998?

Three!!!
Watched that match not so long ago, I mean, I was watching it whilst posting on BigFooty - thanks to the link for afl videos provided late last week.

I did actually used to 'study the Melways' as a kid. I am only not familiar with the North of Melbourne. I come from the South East.
Q: Which player played four finals in 2002?
I did actually used to 'study the Melways' as a kid. I am only not familiar with the North of Melbourne. I come from the South East.
North of Melbourne = Collingwood heartland, and it's old zone.

In Collingwood's biggest victory of 1998, Sav Rocca and which other player kicked 5 goals?
Watson, against Hawthorn at Waverley Park on a cold Saturday night, Hawks kicked four goals...and I have the game on tape.
Scotty Crow had an absolute blinder that night too. And Bucks did his hammy for the first time.
Lonie_from_50
7 Feb 2006, 13:55
I had the game on tape, until something happened (it was taped off TV though). I remember that game so well. I have lived in Berwick all my life, so as a kid, my parents took me to Waverley each year, and a day at the MCG was an absolute treat. Luckily, the Pies played 1-2 matches there each year late 90's.
Watson kicked 5, your go Hoggy. Oh the memories :D

I remember it well. Williams was BOG off halfback. a very wet night indeed. The carpark was extremely slow that night...
And Bucks did his hammy for the first time.
I think he did it two weeks prior (round 14), as he missed round 15 vs Geelong (wet day @ The 'G, we won via goals to Raso and Wild).

Collingwood playing Saturday Night Football at Waverley, why not, :p
Johnson#26
7 Feb 2006, 17:48
I suppose so. But I remember thinking at the time (from the very top of the wind swept, rain lashed Waverley stands) why would they have fireworks on a cold, wet night at Waverley between two lowly teams?
The fireworks almost made me sh*t myself as I was just walking back into the open air after buying dinner for me and Dad.
Q: In the Rd 13 match of 1992 where we defeated West Coast at a wet Subiaco Oval by a point thanks to a last second Troy Lehmann behind, who was the player left out of the original selected side to make way for Darren Saunders, who played well in the wet conditions?

I reckon you're correct.
My memory of watching the game is seeing Richo in the dug-out just after Lehmann kicked the point jumping up and down with the rest of the staff. And he was in civvies (or possibly tracksuit).

Thanks LF50 (Mike, right?), but Johnson#26 (Luke?) gave Richo's name first, I just confirmed it.
As for Saunders, he was crucial in the second last play of the game to get the ball down to the forward line for Willo to take that awesome one-handed mark and goal to draw level.
Anyone else remember Brad Rowe kicking four, and Monkey having 55 hit outs? Here's the final moments:
"The umpire bounces the ball. Monkhorst bangs it. Brown bangs it. Starcevich (don't think it was him, but can't remember who gave the handball!). Lehmann. Collingwood will scorrrrrrrrrre. It's a point. The Pies are in front!"
Funny the things you remember. :o

I just realised I made it sound like I got it right. It was intended to Luke as to start thinking of the next question :p

It is featured on the Collingwood Heartstoppers Video. Richo is on the pine, which is where I got my 'inspiration', if you like, for the answer. :)
