We have picked up David Rodan with our first pick in the draft. I think he has one the Morrish Medal the past two years in a row which is awarded to the best player in the Under 18's.

He isn't real big but apparently is a ball magnet.

Just found out that he was born in Fiji and has been likened to Peter Bell.

We selected Adam Houlihan with our second pick, I have always thought he had some ability but maybe a bit inconsistent, hopefully he can become a quality player for us possibly used in the midfield rotation.

Third pick we have put Chris Hyde back onto the list.

Pick 77 we have selected Mark McGrath from South Fremantle, I don't much about him.

rodan will be flash. i reckon that he is a bargain pick given how long he lasted in the draft.

I hope your right i remember watching him in the under 18's Grand Final and he looked like quality, but i remember the commentators questioning whether he was big enough. Surely he has to be if he has won two Morrish Medals in a row.

We were within an ace of trading Houlihan last year but after a poor 2001, when Geelong came calling again, we told them to f* off!

I guess we had wind of the fact that he was going to be delisted anyway and could pick him up for free! Story has it that his drop in form came about because of being disillusioned about being offered as trade bait.

Two goal sneaks picked up now - Houlihan and Hudson. Should make things a bit more lively around goal now!

There were a couple of off field indiscretions as well.Thats why he got dropped in Rd22 this year.Maybe he was trying to keep up with his brother at Carlton

I can just see TigerTank nodding sagely at the selection of David Rodan, being the extension of Clinton King Theory!
