he didnt lose us money, the money was lost way b4 he was there, daphne his many things, his board screwed up as they did b4 him, we have been financially effed 4 over 2 decades, and all the ex board member who were there bringing us down were trying to get back in and use casey as teh scapegoat.
look at where we are atm, in the best position on and off the field that we have been for yrs,
we now look fwd with optimism, not hope, we have direction
thanks clinton well done

LMAO, by the way man, we have oodles of "direction" and you would be surprised how much interest you pay on that stuff. ;)

So what are you saying, you would have preferred that we never had a person who tried to change the Richmond Football Club? Yeah he was a novice and failed over his 4 years, but he left us with a glimmer of hope in his final year, something that was amiss for over two decades.
At least now we have a good man running the club and we all know that is Miller and a good coach in Wallace. They both trusted and believed in Casey and they both want to succeed, and their success will be RFC success.
I say the debt we incurred was well worth it...finance can be turned around, success takes decades if ever...

dont get me wrong there is no doubt he left us with a glimmer of hope. Lets face it, he did make it so that "hope" couldnt be more crystal clear didnt he?
You appoint a dud, so the punters understand what "complete no hope" is. ;)

Congratulations, you've been hoodwinked by the RFC board BS PR machine.
I think the truth is this.
- The club was virtually (if not completely) debt free when he got there.
- The club was in significant debt when he left. (and, of course, still is)
He lost the money, and left before we even got close to getting it all back.
To quote the extremely annoying television show promo slogan: People lie, numbers don't.

if u believe the club was nearly debt free when daphne left u have no idea!!!! he effed the books up to make it look that way. looks like u r the one hoodwinked.
daphne was pathetic like most of his board.
he was also demoted from nissan for nearly making nissan australia collapse, thats why nissean demoted him, and brought in one of their own(from japan) to fix his mess.
if u are in business or have been, u should know figures can be manipulated to seem better!!!!
the club has been in sh.it 4 decades, daphne employed dud coaches also, when frawley the dud was appointed , we had no choice, no one wanted the gig!!!!!!!!
casey worked his @rse off to get the club on track, all the dh'' from the big 4 as walsh, schwab, macek etc, were all board members the jump off the ship when it was sinking, they are also part of the blame.
casey was the only one who had the balls to stand tall and be there to steady the sinking ship!!!!
dont tell me ive been hoodwinked, i have been in business along time.
schwab came from a family that understands failure and lies, his father, and brother and himself are all famous 4 being part of richmonds failures! but they are the first to pass the blame
thank god all those d.icks are gone

Dont want to really get into this debate yet once again,
but you say;
- The club was virtually (if not completely) debt free when he got there.
I say;
The club was rotting away for many years at that.
you say;
- The club was in significant debt when he left. (and, of course, still is)
I say;
The club was was rotten to the core and no matter who was in charge it was going to give way. We weren't the first club and we wont be the last to go through a change. Thats why a "Detox" was needed.
Basically 20 years too late at that...
My only gripe is why do people stay in the past? How about finding some positives and moving forward.
Oh and dont lambast a president for having a go at it, a genuine attempt to renew the RFC at that, and not a "cover up" as the past presidents and their people had attempted...
Lets move on here...
