Does anyone else think that there is a real chance that this guy might suffer from the 2nd years blues mentioned in the article ?.I tend to think he has too much drive and character for that but I would hate to see him slip back.

Thanks for the link, OS. He sounds very positive in his thinking, and yes, quite tough mentally.
Should be a 10-year player.

Yeah im sure Dale wont suffer from those so called second year blues.
Hoping for a big year from my adopted dog.

I wonder why the second year blues even occurs?
Is it because other teams work out a players strengths and weaknesses?
Back to Morris, he is almost a vital player for us given that I don't think we can afford for him to slip back.

Personally I think it's a myth/perception thing.
No-one expected Morris to play any senior games last year, so the 17 games is a bonus.
If he play's 16 games people will say "it's second year blues" even if he plays better in those games.
You would expect a player who has had to fight as hard as he has to earn senior selection would go forwards, not backwards. One of the best examples of a good attitude you'd find in a player.
