Still the best series of all time imo.
Only one season out of 7 wasn't that flash, the one with that half demon robot thing as the main bad guy, that sucked. Even the spinoff, Angel, was freakin' awesome.
Funny, Hot chicks, Vampires and Monsters, Violence, Hot chicks, Cool characters, brilliant writing - yep, buffy had it all.

My missus is a massive Buffy freak. Loves all that stuff. Simply by living with her, I watched a few and appreciated their quality. Very good show. I liked Angel more though.
Charisma Carpenter is freakin A grade.

Very good show. Angel also excellent. I reckon series 2 and 3 were the best of Buffy. Charisma in Buffy before going to Angel was mint!!!!

Didn't really like the last season of Buffy to be honest, it got a bit silly to be honest, but for the most part it was a quality show.
BTW Anya (Emma Caulfield) was the hottest.

Never watched it until my daughter started watching the repeats on Fox. Now I reckon it is great and have bought the last two series.
Many quirky episodes in the latter stages that I like. Once More With Feeling which is a musical and another one where they all wake up in the magic shop and don't know who they are and have to piece things together.
Agree with the other Blues boys, Emma Caulfield is spectacular and probably didn't get enough credit. By far the funniest character and as a vengeance demon, was a great villain.

I'm a fan of Buffy but I'm an even bigger fan of Angel, the spin off series. Series 4 of Angel was the best series of episodes I've ever seen. The whole of series four was an huge arc yet something new happened every episode with a twist you never see coming even though there's at least one in practically every episode. It was like Lost on steriods. In fact Lost probably got it's format from Angel.
My son is a HUGE Buffy fan. He has all the seasons and posters of her all over the room. (some quite raunchy ones too). Troy also has the Angel series on DVD.
I have got right into it as well thanks to him. Angel is rather hot. Dark and mysterious.
Although he is a massive fan of Jessica Alba, he has never got into Dark Angel though. Might have to hire a couple of seasons and see if he changes his mind.

Angel was a wet pussy and it was great to see he got his ass kicked by Spike. A girl got me onto the show as well but this one was older so maybe I had ulterior motives. :cool:

But there was no shortage of hotties in general.
I'd say Buffy was a better series overall than Angel, but season 4 of Angel was amzaing (the final season I think was 4? Whichever was the last season is what I meant). Just had anb awesome ending and the perfect way to finsih the series.
i'm a buffy fan however whenever i watch it i have nightmares of head decapatations and vampires trying to suck my blood. Seriously the most disturbed nightmares ever.

Buffy was good, but Angel was sooo much better. Buffy went downhill after Season 3 (was still good, but not great) and Angel got better every season.
And to be honest, for me, I preferred Firefly over Buffy in the end, and it was only half a season. Season 6 really killed my desire to watch Buffy.
Though I was glad when Tara was killed off. Worst actor on the show by far.

My missus has a wicked picture of her with that chick at some bar in Melbourne after a Buffy thing, and they are looking super friendly. Excellent stuff. She did well, the girl.

Buffy and Angel were good but, IMO, Joss Weedon's best work is in Firefly and the movie for it, Serenity.

All of Joss' work has been amazing, Serenity the best, it came out on DVD last week, go buy it is amazing, two more in that series to come. Can't wait.

I also enjoy reading the spin off novels and comics of Buffy/Angel.
I just got the first issue of Dracula V Spike and borrowed Queen of the Slayers from my library which is set after season 7.

I spent 2 weeks in America searching for a Xander doll.
I love Buffy, it was awesome. I didn't much like Angel though, mostly because I was never much a fan of his character and I hated the way they changed Cordelia into this soft, fluffy character.

Great show. Thought it peeked at around series 3 and then gradually went down hill. The last season was ordinary. I prefered the funny quirky sort of stuff then the fighting the big bad baddies.
And Buffy was way hotter then Anya and Willow. Buffy the best followed by Faith

Once More With Feeling and Hush (with the creepy gentlemen). Great episodes.
Just got the Firefly set. I missed it on tv (if it was) even better than Buffy/Angel.

I hate anyone who hates the later seasons. Buffy jumped the shark alright... in reverse. Season four was a brave turning point and season five an absolute zenith. The (many) people who think it peaked in two and three... ugh, you have seriously low standards.

The Buffy/Angel series was great. (Still pissed at the Angel series finale :thumbsd:)
Really enjoyed it at the time.
Still catch an odd episode of the Buffster on Foxtels Sci Fi channel :thumbsu:

Cool Show saw all the episodes on Fox 8 about 3-4 years ago cant really remember much now, one episode that freaked me out was the Homicidal Puppet, best episode was probably the one were Buffy had to kill herself to Close the Gateway to Hell by jumping off that tower:thumbsu: IMO Angel was better

Completely agree dude. I think a lot of people dismiss the later seasons just because they're the later seasons. Season 5 was definitely the show's strongest year. The story arc was fantastic and every episode tied in to each other and built up to great climax. Though I disagree about how you highly you rate season 4. S4 had some great single episodes but the season arc was weak. Season 3 deserves a bit better too, but it's all good.
Out of Buffy and Angel which show had the best finale?
I think Not Fade Away was absolutely sensational. It summed up everything that was great about Angel. The ending of him standing there in the rain, surely about to die from impossible odds and saying "lets get to work" was just too awesome for words. God, I would have killed for a season 6, but that was still the best way to go out.:thumbsu:
