What is there more to say about Scott West, much admired for his never die attitude and always keeps giving his all. He has seven best and fairests unlucky to miss 2 brownlow opportunities.

This year he is named as Vice Captain and is now back in the leadership group. Scott West, truly inspirational and a great role model for the kids.

Thoughts?

Quite simply he must be one of the greatest footballers to ever pull on a jumper for the Bulldogs. Its been a privilage to see him play and his work ethic and determination must be a great incentive for the younger players at the club to aspire to.
Week after week he performs at a high level and must be one of the most reliable players to have ever played. Rarely is he quiet for more than one week and his ability to work through a tag most weeks is sensational.

From the people I speak that have followed the club for a number of years they all indicate to me that he is in the top 7 or 8 players that have played for this club. That is truly a great recommendation.
He is still playing strong and I can see him adding at least another 60 games to his tally before he retires.

Works tirelessly throughout every minute of every game. How good was it last year when he kicked those goals - the crowd just roared! 7 club best and fairests says it all.

Even during the dark Rohde days when we lost every week (almost) and he'd been dropped from the leadership group, his consistency never wavered when others around him fell apart. It was almost as if he couldn't stop himself being our best player week after week.

Westy is a credit to himself - even in his "bad years" he would still pull out a runners up in the B and F. He plays well when we are bad. - He plays well when we are good. The reason he wins his own ball more than anyone else in the comp. ......A True Champion and would have made a great captain if given the chance

I was with my (then) 6 yo son (a doggies member, natch..) and we spotted Scott West, my son stared marginally more than me, (son was wearing doggies stuff), and Scott waved us over and humoured us both with a 5-10 minute meet and greet.

Pure magic, will never be forgotten. Son will barrack for the dogs for life.
