What's the latest gossip on the kid?

I heard he has a foot injury, is it serious?

I don't think its too serious. Last I spoke to him he said he should be right around the NAB Cup, and certainly the H&A season. Was doing handballing, walking laps and short kicking last I saw him at training.

Will we expect to see him get promoted during the season. I have a fair indication that O'Brien and Cox are first in line. Nicholls is 67kg, seems too small for AFL Football, while this injury sets back Toovey you would think.

Depending on injury to a player on the senior list, I suppose. And it would be, you'd assume, a like for like swap (ie - defender for defender).

So if a key defender was down, O'Brien would step up (ahead of Tooves - and the other two).

A midfielder would call for Nicholls, while Cox would step up to the plate if a forward went down.

Nicholls seems very skinny, considering his weight...not a very good thing at Senior Level IMO.

nicholls is small but I have been told he has an f load of talent.... may take some time though...great rookie list type.
